I regret to update my previous 5-star review of El Maguey to a 3-star rating. Unfortunately, the service has slightly decreased over time. On recent visits, we've had to call for a waiter to get service, which was never an issue before. Additionally, the quality of the food has become inconsistent, with some dishes being great while others miss the mark. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious. Best Pollo Loco I've ever had hands down. The chicken was tender and very juicy with so much flavor. Service was great!
