Took a little break from all the breweries right in St. Louis and ventured through thick afternoon northbound traffic to check out Narrow Gauge. Lucked out with it being their taproom's first anniversary. Happy Anniversary, Taproom! Also got the stuffed meatballs delivered. (Love St. Louis' slightly-different Italian food: *stuffed* meatball, *toasted* ravioli, *cracker-thin* pizza.)

Narrow Gauge Brewing Company has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The new taproom has a great ambience and is really well done. The IPAs are all excellent and easily some of the best around. I mostly drink IPAs, but the rest of the beer lineup is solid too. The selection is large both on tap and to-go, which makes it easy to try new things or stock up on favorites. The only downside is that the merch section is usually pretty picked over, but that might just be because this place is so popular. Overall, an outstanding brewery that I’d highly recommend.
