We came in late morning on a Saturday with our 13 month old. We had expected to order oatmeal for her, but were told they didn't do oatmeal on Saturdays. Ok, back to the drawing board for her breakfast. Two minutes later our waitress came back and said they would make an exception for our daughter. Wow! Such amazing service! This place is in Fordland, MO. Very small town and this is only cafe in town. Very limited menu but adequate and hospitality was good. I was glad they didn't smoke while I dined as I quit years ago and am very sensitive to cigarette smoke!

We heard the building has been around for 160 years. The owner is part of 17 generations of being in Fordland. The food was great our kids gobbled up all their food I recommend them to anybody who likes Small Town country
