The prices are fantastic and the service is excellent, with staff who know your name and are attentive without hovering. The farm atmosphere, with funny signs and chicken figurines, adds to the experience, making it feel like stepping back into grandma's kitchen. Customers often praise the friendly staff, fantastic home-cooked meals, and the welcoming family-run environment that makes everyone feel at home. The restaurant is known for its family-style plates, all-you-can-eat catfish on Friday night, and special themed nights like Chinese with bacon fried rice. A true mom and pop restaurant where delicious meals and great service keep people coming back. Recent reviews highlight the café as one of the best breakfast spots, with the best country fried steak ever and generous portions that leave customers full and satisfied. The food menu is diverse, offering not only traditional American favorites like pork tenderloin, hamburger, and chicken tenders but also some of the best Asian food in the area, including bacon fried rice. The setting is charming, with a small-town feel and even a rooster crowing ringtone adding to the cozy atmosphere. Despite a busy day with a large unexpected party, the staff handled everything well, and visitors were happy to wait for their meals. Lunches included perfectly cooked grilled bacon chicken melt sandwiches and pork tender sandwiches, both praised for their quality and size. The French fries and onion rings are top-notch, and the friendly service makes it a place worth returning to, especially for breakfast. The farm-inspired decor and welcoming environment make this café a favorite for many who enjoy hearty, home-cooked meals in a relaxed setting.
