We had ribs and a chopped beer sandwich. We saw a nachos platter come from the kitchen, that will be ordered on our next visit!”

“Our daughter got married on 3/21/24. We set up a tasting and they did not disappoint. Had the cakes we chose ready and provided a very relaxed and enjoyable tasting. The lady was fun and took time to understand our wants, while offering suggestions. The cakes are very reasonably priced and let me tell you delicious. Her design was beautiful and exceeded our simple expectations. The buttercream on the cakes were not overly sweet, but had the perfect touch. The cake was very moist and flavorful. I would highly suggest them to anyone.”

“This restaurant was recommended to us by a local from another similar restaurant when they “ran out of food” that we were ordering specifically. She said she’d rather have been eating at Pops but she was with a group who chose the restaurant that shall remain nameless. The young lady who served us ran a tight ship but very friendly with everyone. She knew many of the locals who came in and was very present.The food was tasty with tender meats and yummy sides to round it out. If you are a dipper, you’ll be very happy with the 5 sauces they made in-house and are not stingy with!I would have loved some southern sweet tea on ice, butI had to remind myself we were in the Midwest , and I get why they do bottled drinks only. They offer yummy sounding desserts but we couldn’t even finish our entrees, so maybe next time.”

“We came in from Kansas City for fishing, we left still talking about the BBQ we had in crane. In my opinion, Five Oaks is better than even my favorite bbq spots ( Oklahoma Joe's, Slap's, and Q39) I highly recommend you try this spot. The brisket blew us away!”

But if you want good, home cooked meals, with a great view, then go. Get the FRIPS, they are a must. 6/1/23- This is still a great place. I had the chicken BLT, it was great. 8/4/23. You have to try the pork chop. And also the pies.”

They checked on us regularly and were very friendly. Definitely worth going to if you want a basic breakfast with a view near Branson. “We have came down the last several years for our anniversary with our friends and Flat Creek never disappoints. We ask for our favorite waitress, Patience, and she was out for health reasons and that was disappointing…hope she doing well. Mr. Wonderful, Henry, took care of us and he did an awesome job filling in for our favorite. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening. My prime rib was amazing. I will miss the fried pies.”

“I've been on the Hunt for good Pizza, and it really brothers me how there's so much bad pizza out there. This one is mediocre ish. Little pizza shop off in the middle of nowhere in Missouri north of Kansas City which is attached to a gas station. It has pretty decent Pizza - especially considering this region is full of really bad Pizza. Try not to get any slices that have been sitting around all day. The fresh stuff is much better. I've had one old and one fresh and I can say the difference is like four star versus two star.”
