We initially bought the oatmeal cream pie cookies and had to go back an hour later to get more!!! The baked goods we took home were absolutely amazing! “Finally made it to Purdy’s from Lost Valley Lake - normally we do our own cooking but decided to give it a try and happy that we did. Great food and drinks and our waitress was fast and very friendly. We will be back”

“This was a nice little surprise. Very pretty little sandstone lined banks and low water bridge. The water was a little high so I didn't chance tge bridge.

I went back with my dogs and was disappointed in the swimming. The sandstone was a bit slick and had small dropouts between it and gravely spots. My dogs wouldn't swim. The water was too shallow for a grownup swim so overall, I'd recommend it as a canoe/kayak access over a swimming spot.
Just the same, it was a lovely spot to visit”
