The food was fantastic, but the service definitely left you aching for a little more attention and respect as a customer paying what some would say are outrageous/gouging prices. The seating areas were torn up and shoddy for what was expected from an "upscale" environment/atmosphere.

This was the first time my daughter and I had visited this place. Very friendly people from the person who sat us at our table to the wait staff that I interacted with it was a very good experience. Lyss Was our waitress and she did a great job. The food was amazing I had the dry rub burger and my daughter had the macaroni and cheese. Both were very delicious. I was told grilled cheese at this place is amazing which is what I’m going to try next timeParking: So this restaurant is connected to an apartment building. So parking was crazy and not a lot of places to park. I ended up having to park in the back parking lot and walk to the restaurant Which didn’t really bother me but to somebody else that could be a problem.

The food was ok. It was a bit pricey for what it was, but I've paid more for worse and not complained. The service was fine. We had a large group and we were taken care of. I live in OP so I wouldn't go back for myself, but I'd be fine with returning if meeting up with a large group again.

We came here for the first time and wanted to see how good summit grill was to host our private event. The food and cocktails were excellent but the service was not great. Our waitress seemed lost or very tired. I had to ask her for several things. We wanted another cocktail never came around asked if we wanted another I had to askFor another . It took forever for our foodTo come out. People who had been seated after us got their food before we did.The waitress charged our bill wrong. We ended up being at the restaurant for almost 3 hours, should not have been there that long. Needless to say we won’t be hosting our private event here

We’ve regularly dined at this location for years. The food is consistently good, but over the last year the service has deteriorated quite noticeably. Long, unexplained waits for drinks and food, serving staff that will wait 10+ mins before first approaching the table, and generally inattentive service have become common. We have moderated the number of visits here due to the deterioration in service.Anecdotally, there used to be consistent management staff that have disappeared during the last year. Unclear if that’s the problem.

Maybe it was because the restaurant was busy for brunch, but the service was okay, and the atmosphere was a little unhinged. It took 5 to 10 minutes to receive a menu and for someone to order the drinks. The bartender was chipper and made excellent recommendations. I could hardly hear myself think, let alone the person next to me. The Buttermilk Biscuits and Gravy were satisfactory; the biscuits were on the dry side, and the gravy was slightly overly salted, but the scrambled eggs that came with them were impressive though. I want to give Summit Grill another chance, but it's at the bottom of an ever-growing list.

Found this place on googleSome good reviews so decided to try it out.Very cool atmosphere, loved the vibeOrder the fired calamari from the happy hour menu. This is not actually fired calamari. It’s just fried cheese and peppers. Not sure why they call it fried calamari also ordered the hummus. This was very good.I ordered the fish and chips which was less than desirable. The fish tasted frozen and chewy. The fries were good. Nicely seasoned. The coleslaw was absolutely dreadful.my server, I don’t remember his name was unattended and only filled up my glass of water one time throughout the whole meal. Never asked me if I wanted another glass of Chardonnay, which also took about 15 minutes to receive the first class.First time in Kansas City, looking for local restaurants and disappointment to say the least. Will not be returning.

Quiet place with a fancy feel, the food spoke for itself and the decor was nice. This is a well rounded place to eat for anyone willing to spend the little extra

Walked in at 5pm on Thursday for a table for four. We were seated quickly and asked the server for the happy hour specials. She said we needed to sit on the bar side of the restaurant (literally 10 feet from our table) for the happy hour specials. We politely agreed and asked the hostess to be moved to the bar side, where there were hardly any customers seated with several tables open. She said we could move but would be a 15 minute wait, for what reason I do not know. We decided to go to another restaurant down the street that actually allows customers. Hadn’t been prior and won’t be trying it again!Parking: Location is underneath an apartment building, the provided lot is always full, as well as the street spaces.

Tried this location for the first time and love the atmosphere! I went for brunch on a Saturday morning which was surprisingly slow (granted it was Easter weekend). My friend and I sat at the bar and the bartenders immediately greeted us! Service was very quick too. Every worker we engaged with from the host stand to the bar was attentive and friendly ☺️ the manager (Russ) was also super kind and made us feel very welcome! For brunch, I ordered the avocado toast. The bread was slightly burnt on the edges, but the avocado spread caused the middle of the toast to be mushy. The dish itself was also pretty bland with no significant flavor. On the bright side, I really enjoyed the French toast!I will be coming back for brunch again to try another dish! Even though my plate wasn’t anything to rave about, the atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience a great one.

Summit Grill is a higher class experience without the insane upcharge. Food and atmosphere are very elevated and even though the prices are slighter higher than your typical dining experience the portions are big. I have been here 4 times now in the last 2 years with my girlfriend and every experience has been great! I highly recommend this for a date night or any dining outing.

I've been here a couple of times and wasn't impressed but not put off either. But went on Easter because my parents wanted to go there. It was pretty terrible all the way around. I could say, "but, they were busy on a holiday," but this is when the food is supposed to be highest quality. Low quality beef and cheese on the nachos appetizer was terrible.
