Was bar hopping Hermann on a Friday night and no other bar kitchens were open past 11pm. We rolled into this place hoping they had a kitchen, and that it was open. Sure enough, it was! The staff was extremely friendly and talked to us while we waited on our food. Told us their black stone grill has been seasoned for 100 years! And honestly… you could tell! We have been here a few times. We have always had good and friendly services. The food is good if you like simple bar food. Which I do. Prices are great and the place seems very clean. For the water drinkers like me, they have good water as well.
Came here for the St Louis style pizza. The pizza was pretty good but light on all the toppings. Service was slow, but there seemed to be only one server and the cook working. Maybe we just came on an expected slow day and they got a little busier than expected.
