My wife spent a weekend here and it was great. It was a great way to experience life in Hermann, Mo. I couldn’t recommend this more. From wineries, to shops, to excellent food. It was a great place to spend a weekend.

We had such a wonderful time at the treehouses at The Cottages! The hosts provided clear directions about how to get in, where to park, Wi-Fi, extra blankets etc.We stayed in their largest treehouse which was a perfect cozy getaway for both sides of grandparents, us, and our two kids. It was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed all the windows and hearing the rain outside, watching the trees blow in the breeze. Two bathrooms was helpful and the mini fridge made it easy to put dinner away after snacks and games we brought for the evening.The location is great for feeling close to nature and having privacy but being super close to restaurants and things to do! Thanks Keely, Lee and family for the wonderful memories!

Great Hosts. Weekend Getaway at The Sunrise Treehouse at the Cottage neat place. Peaceful. Perfect space for two people. Delicious Strawberries and Champagne. Wonderful scones, quiche, and muffins. Near place to unwind and read a book. Lots of together time too??? Beautiful views outside and inside.

We went during the winter and messaged ahead of time to be sure they had heating and could accommodate us with heating. We were told yes. We got there and the heater wasn’t working — it was so cold! The water didn’t work due to being frozen. We left early and got no money back.

The tree house is beautifully designed and comfortable. Breakfast was fine but some fresh fruit would have been welcomed as well as another juice option. Providing decaf coffee and non flavored creamer would have also been a plus. We very much enjoyed daybreak from our perch.

Great place Adorable cabin - clean - hot tub was great - stars were beautiful outside Absolutely loved would highly recommend! Loved the fairy lights and coziness of the cabin, had a deer show up right outside!

Sunrise Treehouse, you are the best tree & cutest house!! Super clean, I had white socks on & they stayed white inside & on the deck. The breakfast items placed in our fridge were marvelous. We played cards and even danced in our tiny space. Just say, ALEXA, play ( whatever artist you want ) & volume you want. So dreamy. This was husband’s 72nd bday, never too old for a tree house. We’ve been married 50 1/2 years. What a cool experience for 2 nights. The ladder is nothing to worry about. So many windows that we never needed to turn on lights. It was hot so used the a/c but the windows all open and my are they nice screened windows for mornings. We slept amazingly well. One night a huge storm arrived & that was delightful ?. There is a resident property manager cat, Maple Bacon. Maple Bacon checks in often. Keely, the human property manager is the reason this place is so wonderful ? It is so quiet here, and very close to town. We hardly left but we did go to Stonehill Winery & took the cellar tour, excellent. And we ate lunch there, also very good. We highly recommend booking a tree house stay.

Very nice place to stay for a romantic getaway! Ours was on ground level so we could have the hottub. The deck was in the trees with a gorgeous view of woods while we soaked up the enjoyment of the hottub!! Definitely would stay again. The folks that own the place were terrific and stopped to see if we needed anything when we arrived.

The treehouse was like going back to childhood days and my tree fort but way nicer. It was so cozy, serene, and peaceful to spend time there and enjoy our little hillbilly honeymoon. We will definitely be back and are telling everyone we can about the Cottage. Their connection and involvement with the community of Hermann (especially the new youth center) are just as inspiring as the treehouse was fun!

My husband and I stayed in the Sunrise Tree House and it was amazing! Perfectly cozy for two. We totally enjoyed everything and our hosts were simply awesome. They made sure we had everything we needed and were easily reachable for questions. We can't wait to return.

I always wanted to stay in a treehouse, and this place did not disappoint. The grounds are beautiful and tranquil. The treehouse is clean and cozy with windows everywhere. My favorite part was sitting outside on the balcony in the morning while reading a book and listening to the birds sing. The staff was extremely friendly, and we were visited by Maple Bacon, the cat. The property is also close to town. I would definitely stay here again and again!

The location is tucked away neatly amongst mature trees. We stayed at sunrise cottage, it is a cute tree house with big windows all around. Very romantic and cute all at the same time. I didnt know what to expect sleeping in a tree house, so the only thing I didnt like about it is that the sound of tree hitting the roof as it sway can be loud. But overall we really enjoyed our experience.

We stayed in Sunrise cottage, immaculately clean and nicely nestled in the trees. We enjoyed one night after a busy day at Onondaga Cave and dinner in Hermann. This is a treehouse so remember that for size. Bathroom very tiny and cistern holds water. Breakfast was good but very simple. We enjoyed reading books on deck. We were happy nearby storm passed us by. Would recommend for peacefulness and fun.

This is a fantastic place for a weekend getaway, or a mid week getaway! It is conveniently located 4 minutes from downtown and close to all the winery and distillery locations! The lady was very sweet and on top of anything we needed (which wasn’t much, because they had everything perfectly waiting)! I would 100% recommend it.
