Stopped in for lunch. Wife had the jambalaya and I had the fried shrimp po boy. The jambalaya had good flavor but was lacking in meats. Only a couple pieces of sausage and chicken. It was mostly rice. The possibilities boy was good but far too much remoulade. The service however was poor. Waiter took our order and brought out our food and that was it. Never checked on us to see how the food was. Never re-filled our water. I had to go to the counter to ask for a to go box and to get the check. To add insult to injury, they charge $2 to substitute regular fries (which were soggy) for the sweet potato fries that come with the po boy. Over all not what I expected from a restaurant with a greater than 4 star Google rating.

Grant greeted us as soon as we walked in. I wanted to sit on the patio but after being out there about 5 min, decided it was too hot. He was very nice and helpful in seating us inside. He was very prompt in taking our orders and serving us. We were there around 2 pm on a Friday and there were 4 tables that he (alone) was taking care of, including being the bartender. The food was delicious and large portions. Would definitely go back!

The waiter did a fantastic job! Unfortunately when asked for the kitchen to cook my too rare of a steak.(I ordered medium well and it was more of a medium rare) the kitchen refused to cook it alittle bit longer. The waiter did apologise and comp. The meal but I will probably not be back.

Food was amazing. We tried the boudin balls and fried oysters. The zydeco pasta had a kick but delicious. Red eye gravy and chicken was also a hit. Food portions were big so had leftovers. Service was on the slower side but we were not in a rush after coming from the bourbon festival

Our party of 8 went to dine here. We were told there was about an hour wait. They took our phone number and told us they would call us when our table was ready, while also making it sound like a party of 8 was an inconvenience. We never received a phone call that our table was ready.

I've eaten here a couple different times. The food is just okay. Unfortunately, the prices are very high. Most recently, I ate the $18 macaroni and cheese with chicken. For the price, I expected to be outstanding but all of it was extremely bland, and I had to heavily season it with salt and pepper at the table for it to even taste like anything. Service was fine, and my waiter was nice. I was the only person there for lunch. As a local, I will probably steer clear from now on as I can't justify spending that much money for food that isn't that great. It was the most expensive bowl of mac and cheese I've had. Otherwise, the building is fairly new so the atmosphere is pretty nice and it's all pretty clean.

I wanted to love your restaurant so much!! We love Cajun food and everything about it. Let’s start with the good. The boudin balls were yummy and the full order of fried oysters were good also. Sadly that was it. We were supposed to be celebrating our wedding anniversary with friends and it was a hot Saturday evening so we decided this would be the perfect place. The chicken strips were dry so dry they were inedible, the casserole started good but the middle was filled with dried out rice and hard. The “adult” macaroni was just that and it tasted old. But the worst part of our evening was the service. I’m not sure where this girl got her training on waiting tables but she was not attentive, didn’t seem to want to be there, and well didn’t really care if our how our needs were met. I won’t be back. I’m sure it doesn’t really matter to your place of business because if it did you would make some serious improvements in several areas. I believe it recognizing good customer service. It’s hard to find especially now days. Going out to eat is a treat and a pleasure and I wish my experience here would have been somewhat good.

Outstanding! We are from the south, and this exceeding our expectations for southern, cajun/creole food. We ordered several things and all were delicious! Boudin balls are the best I’ve ever had. Fried, green tomatoes were the special appetizer and were good. Breading on both appetizers was light, crispy, and crumbly. Gumbo and crawfish etouffee (with added shrimp) were both great. Everything was cooked to order, so we waited a bit during dinner rush, but it was sooo worth it. Restaurant was clean, and staff were friendly and attentive.

A group of us riding the Katy Trail visited Zydeco 3 nights ago. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and it had a contemporary small town feel. Not only did they have delicious food, but the band, the Smooth Sound of the Scissor Siaters really topped of the evening. It was like Cher and friend Alanis Morissette had a family. The music was uniquely unique. Unfortunately I didn’t bring the good stuff on the trip or it would’ve been even more divine!
