Food was on point, was a good choice will definitely come back if I ever come back.
You will want to pass on Zydeco if you’re in historic Hermann Missouri. This is anything but authentic Cajun food. The red beans and rice had a sour aftertaste, the signature house paste was Elmer’s glue sticky, and the fried oysters tasted as if they were fried in bleach. They service was uncoordinated and our waiter focused twice the amount of attention on the table next to us. I think the couple at that table felt bad for us and struck up a wonderful conversation. Meeting that couple as the best part of the restaurant experience. Zydeco is a no go for us.
This was the first stop of our anniversary trip to Hermann. The food was excellent and the service was great! We had the boudin balls for an appetizer and they were the best I’ve had. We both ordered the jambalaya casserole and it was top notch! We will be back again!
Delicious food. Nice place
Great food , drinks , friendly service.
Delicious food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere. What more could you ask for? We will for sure be coming back!
In town for the weekend and tonight we would try something different. Definitely was hoping for a better experience as far as the food goes. The creole fried rice was too salty I couldn’t eat it. The menu seemed small. It didn’t feel authentic
Awesome gumbo and chocolate raspberry cake. Nice new patio. Nice sit down ambiance and price options from lighter portions to full entrees.
We had a wonderful time and they seated us immediately even close to closing. The food was hot and delicious and reminded me of home. I haven’t had Cajun food in such a long time and this was awesome.
To me, it was Cajun only by name.

Loved the cornbread and chili and the red beans and rice!
Chicken Tenders were some kind of pieced together dark meat and cold. Would not have ordered had we known they were not made of white meat. Did not eat.
The “chicken Po Boy” sandwich may have been the same meat and a small portion.
Fries were a very small portions and cold. Got sweet potato fries with sandwich instead of regular fries as ordered. Said they would correct. They did not.
Automatic 18% gratuity added because of group size I guess. We usually tip very well but in this case certainly wouldn’t have left 18%.
Including drinks and “gratuity” our bill was over $50.
My husband brought me here for Mother’s Day. The food was amazing and the staff was awesome. We loved it and will be back!
Good food at a reasonable price. Service was superb. Within easy walking distance of downtown. Definitely recommend.
Our 1st time there & every dish was delicious & hot. The food wait was lil long, but it was worth it.
