“Casual diner with excellent food! My husband and I were traveling South on I35 looking for a quick meal that wasn't fast food. Stopped here because of other reviews and it did not disappoint! Lots of home cooked items, excellent selection of sides & dessert too. We will definitely stop again!”

“My husband and I stopped in during the wine walk and as much fun as we had strolling through downtown Plattsburg our favorite part was stopping in Blondie’s Brews. They are so wonderful to chat with and have a great selection of coffee , tea , and lemonade to choose from. Highly recommend! We are already looking forward to getting back there again.”

And don’t even get me started on the icing… it was to die for! 😍 What made it even more special was the personal touch—she decorated it with Mackenzie’s signature ducks, which made it just as fun and meaningful as it was tasty. “We've been eating here for years as we go to Richmond regularly. The last two times we've been there, the menu changed a little and the food has become so much better. Tacos Al Pastor are my favorite. A little pineapple kicks it up a notch. Hubby had carne asada tacos and they were also great. Definetely recommend.”

“I don't know how to say enough good things. I'm an elopement planner and wedding photographer. Sugar Whipped crew - Melissa, Ryan, et al., have come through for me so many times. The services they provide are top notch. One of the most important things I look for in wedding vendors is that they CARE. Melissa truly cares deeply about each of her clients and makes sure everyone gets the love they need and she pours it in to her recipes. I think that's truly her secret ingredient. Communication is always clear and concise, the cakes she provides are stunning, meticulously created, delivered SAFELY, and are DELICIOUS. Not to mention the bakery itself gives me cozy vibes and sweet treats. Honestly, it's no surprise sugar whipped was voted Best of KC in a couple categories. it's obvious why. 10/10 recommend and will use again and again.”

“I used to work for stables. And I am proud to say that. Manager, Linda Clark, and manager Morgan Ward are one of the best managers you’ll find. Unfortunately I quit due to me going to college. If I wasn’t going to college, you bet I would stay there. I believe that there’s not many restaurants like stables anymore. Everybody is just kind of jerks. However, a lot of the time working there put a smile on my face. I was a dishwasher. However, there were times where I could help out everybody. There were times where the servers were so packed up that they couldn’t bust their own tables. Not their fault at all. Each and every one of those servers are amazing. And it’s not a big deal to help them anyway. I won hundred percent. I’m going to continue to eat there. And you guys should too. Thank you Linda and thank you Morgan hope to see and hear from you guys soon. Love you all.”

“My husband and I ordered carry out one night and they accidentally gave us the wrong item. When I called up to tell them and I told them I lived 20 minutes away and would be coming to pick up my correct item the apologized multiple times and told me they would have my correct item waiting at the front. I couldn’t believe when they gave us a pound of burnt ends, coleslaw, potato salad and a bottle of sauce for free and sent the mistake item back with us as well!! I couldn’t believe how much he cared for his customers and acknowledging my time for coming back and more than making up for their mistake. Blew us away with the top notch customer service!! You rarely see people that value their customers anymore and they sure know how to make you feel like a valued customer!! Thank you guys again!”
