“We live in the Northland of K.C. & have MANY restaurants to sate my palate. Ventana is now my favorite. My husband and I went for a quick get away to Excelsior on a Monday and next to nothing was open for a couple's date night venue. The Elm's front desk employee recommended Ventana, and I'm SO glad he did. The chicken piccata is one of the BEST Italian dishes I've ever had. Angie was our server and she is fantastic. We're back home in K.C. tonight and I'm already wanting to go back and experience more of their delectable menu.”

“My husband and I stopped in during the wine walk and as much fun as we had strolling through downtown Plattsburg our favorite part was stopping in Blondie’s Brews. They are so wonderful to chat with and have a great selection of coffee , tea , and lemonade to choose from. Highly recommend! We are already looking forward to getting back there again.”

The have added new items from time to time but have such a multi choice menu you can always find new items to you. The bar menu is great and many times we share a large drink!”

“Local dive bar with cheap drinks and good food. What’s not to like. If you’re looking a great spot to watch a game or live music on Saturday. This is not a go to spot for craft beer. This is your basic beer spot with a side of Jack n Coke. Take the edge off your day. Buy some pull tabs. Tip your server!”

“We've been eating here for years as we go to Richmond regularly. The last two times we've been there, the menu changed a little and the food has become so much better. Tacos Al Pastor are my favorite. A little pineapple kicks it up a notch. Hubby had carne asada tacos and they were also great. Definetely recommend.”

“This place is the best kept secret in the KC area! Great BBQ and prices without the over hyped atmosphere. This is your basic BBQ joint with high quality tasting food and service. The dinning area is divided into two sections, dinning in the area and dinning in not the bar area. Naturally, one side is a little more kid friendly than the other. The service was excellent and the staff was super friendly and even spoke German! That definitely was a great experience and opportunity. This place should definitely be on your go to map for great BBQ in the KC area.”

“Went to Vida Verde on my lunch break. Service was quick and the food was delicious! I got chicken fajitas, great portion size and chips and salsa came with the meal. Will definitely be back!”

“I used to work for stables. And I am proud to say that. Manager, Linda Clark, and manager Morgan Ward are one of the best managers you’ll find. Unfortunately I quit due to me going to college. If I wasn’t going to college, you bet I would stay there. I believe that there’s not many restaurants like stables anymore. Everybody is just kind of jerks. However, a lot of the time working there put a smile on my face. I was a dishwasher. However, there were times where I could help out everybody. There were times where the servers were so packed up that they couldn’t bust their own tables. Not their fault at all. Each and every one of those servers are amazing. And it’s not a big deal to help them anyway. I won hundred percent. I’m going to continue to eat there. And you guys should too. Thank you Linda and thank you Morgan hope to see and hear from you guys soon. Love you all.”
