“Went here on a "date night" with my husband one afternoon. The place was pretty empty because of a big football game going on.We were told to sit wherever we wanted and were quickly asked for our drinks orders. Within a few minutes the drinks were out and the nice lady was out to take our order. I had chicken street tacos and my husband had the fajitas dos primos with the intention of us sharing.The food here was AMAZING. The street tacos were perfect and the chicken was amazingly delicious. I had only wished there was more. My husband loved the fajitas and finished off most of the shrimp (he knows i prefer chicken or beef) and i helped him with some of the chicken and beef and there were still leftovers.I would tell anyone looking for a good, filling, affordable meal with a nice dine in experience (of course YMMV on what day and time you go) to try out Dos Primos. I know i will be back, I can't say enough how kind and prompt the staff were, the food being so amazing was just the icing on the cake. Thanks guys! We had a wonderful time!!“

“Yall not doing taco bell right if you are going during the day... taco bell is one of those places you go to at midnight - 2 am for a meal that'll help push you through the rest of the night weather ur gaming partying or doing anything else. Taco bell is not a normal day time restaurant. That being said. If you see me at taco bell at 1am... no u didn't.“

“I absolutely love the food here! The guacamole is the best I've ever had, the ceviche (which I tried for the first time here) is a must order when I'm here food, the burrito is so big that I can have leftovers the next day, and the owner and her family are extremely nice and don't try to rush you out the door!. In my opinion, the best Mexican restaurant in town! Truly a hidden gem and I encourage everyone who loves Mexican food to try this place!“

“Curb appeal was great. Easy entrance with good parking. Very friendly staff to welcome you. Indirect lighting, painting scheme was warm and welcoming.Carlos, our waiter, was incredibly helpful and funny.Booth was comfortable with nice view of downtown J. City. Best margarita I’ve had in 20 years. Chips were a little thick but the sauce was fresh and flavorful.I had the pollo chorizo. Tender and sooo full of flavor. Highly recommend and will return!“

“The wife and I came in about an hour before they closed a few nights ago. Had a gentleman pull up a chair and made small talk with us before taking our orders. Cozy little Mexican restraunt, but ill need to try more from their menu at an earlier time soon!“

“We live in Como and took the drive to Jeff City to check out this Mexican restaurant because of the food pictures they posted on Facebook looked very good. We love the decor of this restaurant and makes you feel like your in Mexico ??. The food was pretty good, but the margaritas could use just a little more tequila. Overall, we would definitely go again to check out some of the other food selections.“

“Must Mexican restaurants offer the same menu for about the same prices and they taste about the same. Went into El Jimador in Jefferson City expecting just that. Boy were we wrong. The man who seated us and took our orders was extremely pleasant but not overly intrusive. The food was close but a little bit above the normal Mexican restaurant fare. But they had a salsa bar... Holy mother of pearls, it was amazing. Avacado salsa, Pico de Pina, salsa Verde, a mango salsa, grilled jalapenos, grilled small onions bulbs, several other salsas, wow!It took the meal to a whole new level. I now see there is a difference in Mexican restaurants and this place is by far our favorite.“

“This place was suggested to us by a family member and our attorney, and it was not a mistake. We visited from a short travel distance but we were in the area and I'm glad we went. However, now I can't wait to go back. Guess we're gonna be making a special trip. Lol“

“Good Mexican food. Portions are of sufficient size. Free tortilla chips and salsa are tasty. However, their green sauce is not the best I have had in Mexican restaurants. Service and atmosphere are fine. Good for a family meal together. They also have a spacious parking lot.“

“THE BEST CHIPS AND SALSA ANYWHERE!! Went to the location under the water tower, holy cow were those great! The rest of the food was really good as well. Atmosphere was like any other Mexican restaurant and the service was really good! I wish the beer on tap was a little colder but all in all, 5*!! Did I mention the chips and salsa?!?!“

“This was my first time at this location. We arrived before the Sunday evening dinner rush and the service was welcoming. The staff at this location wear headsets which help with faster response times for food updates/status. This location does have A LOT of dinner options to choose from, I think it would be helpful if it were more condensed (a bit overwhelming). Overall the food is good and friendly environment. We ordered the churros and they were a bit over cooked, I think. But I recommend the carnitas and either a raspberry or mango margarita.“

“AMAZING. As a Mexican, I’ve been eating Mexican food my whole life and I was scared to try this place. 10/10 (except the rice) but amazing beans. I had the shredded beef tacos and the tortillas taste hand made. So glad I found this place “

“Best menu, flavor, service in any Mexican restaraunt I have been too. Not your normal menu, very delicious and different menu. You are missing out if you haven't tried it. Alcohol menu coming in a couple weeks. My favorite restaraunt in Jefferson City!!“

“We arrived early, before lobby opened. We had trailer and didn’t fit in drive thru. They were gracious and allowed us e one in and order. Thank you for your kindness. They only other thing that would have been better was to eat inside. As with a 10 month old would have been easier to feed him.“
