This place use to be my go-to now it's getting to be đ 30 min. wait, the place wasn't even crowded pancakes were burnt the Mgr had to go back and cook me some more, eggs were cold and this isn't first time,it's becoming regular
We ended up here after the wait for another restaurant was too long (we had a child with us)
We were seated relatively quickly. The table had not been cleaned. Salt and scraps of straw paper were all over the table. Not to make a scene we let that go. We placed the food order with the drink order.
We get the drinks. 30+ minutes later after never getting the appetizers we ordered no food has arrived and regret for ending up here is setting it. Unfortunately the disappointments were far from over.
The food minus the appetizers finally has arrived. My meal in particular is missing 2 pieces of chicken. It was also missing the condiments requested when placing the order. These would not be the only issues though. One piece of the chicken came literally raw.
I pointed out the dangerous issue to the server who got them to just make another piece. Mind you I was already shorted two pieces. I get a lonely chicken strip back from the kitchen thatâs barely cooked enough to be food safe (itâs stringy and doesnât tear) By this time I had already decided I wasnât eating anything else anyways.
I bring to the attention of the server that I was shorted on what they brought me to begin with. She tells me that the kitchen staff are regularly âscammingâ her words customers because itâs supposedly done by weight and not piece count as in their menus.
I asked for the manager who only compâd the entree and had zero real concern of the issues. This was one of the worst dining experiences Iâve ever had and I still ended up paying over $30 for my wifeâs and a toddlers food. This place is disgusting and corporate needs to come investigate whatâs going on with the kitchen and employees that clearly donât care.

Our waitress was excellent. Food was good. Fresh.l
Did I mention our wait
Parking: Handicap parking is ridiculous. Had to walk farther around to get in. Yet you had plenty spots in the front of the building. You don't need a thousand "curbside pickup" spots. Handicap spots should be available there.
Wheelchair accessibility: Awful.

Honestly the fried chicken salad used to be soo good and visually appealing, I asked for no tomatoes and no cucumbers and that was the saddest salad I've seen in a long time.
1 little boiled egg, measured out shredded cheese, a couple croutons on iceberg lettuce for $19.
The only relief was that the person who ate it needed a light meal, but I'll never get cracker barrel to go again ever

My first brunch experience at Cracker Barrel left me disappointed and disgusted. To begin, our cutlery and water cups were greasy and smelled like fried chicken. I had to send my cup back twice before they got it right. We ordered the country fried steak and fried chicken along with okra, beans and mac n cheese. The fried steak was too salty and oily. The fried chicken was also too oily and lacked flavor. The okra and mac n cheese were alright, however, the beans were the nastiest I have ever had. They smelled horrid, were a mushy mess and totally ruined the meal for me.
On the plus side, the atmosphere is quite unique and the gift shop is incredible. Highly recommend checking it out. Our waitress was also quite friendly and helpful, but we will not be returning anytime soon.

I ordered carry out tonight, and am very disappointed with my order. I only received 6 decent size steak fries that tasted horrible. The hamburger was cold and chewy. I ordered ahead so it would be ready when I picked it up. I wonder how long my food sat, waiting for me to pick it up. My food was ice cold. My order cost too much for so little food.

I have only gone for breakfast the tables are small and compacted near each other so you feel right on top of the people behind you if itâs just two people dinning once the food and drinks come the hole table is full that u donât have much room at all. But the food is amazing and the services has always been great the only thing I didnât like besides the small tables is the coffee is horrible no matter how much cream and sugar you use it still taste bad
