I’ve been here 2x now in 10 days. I’m a Mexican food snob - and this is hands down one of the BEST I’ve had in a minute! Highly recommend and I will be a regular.

Tatema is a little hole in the wall restaurant and one of the best hidden gems around. The food is incredible, authentic, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The tacos are killer good, truly life changing, and the best. The brown salsa is unique and the most flavorful you will have anywhere. All recipes are that of the owner behind the grill. The staff is always super friendly, warm, and welcoming. The food is always ready fast with no long wait times. Specific meals mentioned include carnitas, Mexican rice, tamales, horchata, and churros. The churros were incredible, easily the best ever, with a cinnamon sugar filling, honey on the side, and a scoop of cookies & cream ice cream. From the rice, the beans, to the main items, everything is amazing. This is the place for real, quality Mexican food with great service.
