The people who do the work in this place are fantastic and genuinely get hospitality. Was my first time trying this out as a newbie and I was sadly not super impressed with the burnt ends... Which is all I care about at every bbq joint. Lol. But like I said, the people were great, the fries were good and we had a good time out.
I wish the ham was more consistent. Ham can be dry at times. However, I will say the last 3-4 times it's been perfect. I would give 5 stars if consistency was there but you're moving in the right direction. Mixed plate with an order of onion rings is my go to order.
This was my first experience with KC bbq and it was a solid meal. Got the nooner sandwich and the burnt ends on it were a great addition. The burnt ends Mac and cheese was also quite good - Cheese and bbq go together like Mahomes and Kelce. After trying sandwiches at other KC BBQ joints, I don’t think the nooner is as good as Joe’s but I did like it better than AB’s.
