This was the worst order I have ever had at the Independence, MO Marcos on Sunday, 9/14/25 around noon. The pizza & breads ticks were dripping will oil or grease & every thing was undercooked. I'll never go back

My husband and I had a long, exhausting week, and we just wanted a pizza, breadsticks and cinnamon squares. I put in our order for delivery at around 8 pm. The manager said 30 minutes until the delivery time. I was very clear about my address and street name! At 8:45 I get a call from driver # 1 saying he’s at my house. He was clearly not at my home! I live on Osage Village Drive but the manager out in Osage Street! Thst address and my address are 15 minutes apart from one another. I gave him the correct street name and no pizza order ever showed up! I called back and spoke to the manager. I addressed the street name issue and she promised to get us our food asap! Driver # 2 calls and she gave him Osage Street too! At 9:30 pm thst driver called and I told him I didn’t want an hour and a half old order! That our food was to be considered “ dead “ after being in two drivers cars now driving our food all around town and back to the store and back out all over town again! I called the manager again and she promised that a Marco’s delivery driver had our fresh cooked food at would be at our house on Osage Village Dr in 10-15 minutes. Again Driver # 3 was also given Osage Street 15 minutes in the opposite direction of where we live! Three times in a row - REALLY!!?? By 10:30 at night we still had no food and we were very upset and frustrated! I received a text message from a random person late last night saying they have our food, with a photo of our food on their kitchen counter! It said - Dear Mr. Smith, I believe your order was delivered to our house so you may want to call the store and speak to their manager! The manager was very rude, had an attitude and she had no clue how to rectify the situation. I guess being rude to customers who paid for food and never got it was the best option. We need a full refund for food we never received and an apology for the crappy customer care or the lack there of. It sad because we have loved eating here ever since they first opened this location. We have been long time customers. Guess we will take our business to Square Pizza or Papa John’s from now on.

sad when I got home with the food my breadsticks were so under cooked we had to throw them away and it was to late to go all the way back to the store to get a fresh one :(
(Literally only cooked the outside of the bread and it was so raw and stingy 😭)

Always a great experience with this Marcos. Never had any issues, makes a great Date Night with the wife going to Rapid Fire Arcade down the street and then coming to get Marcos right after!

As i was leaving Marcos on 23rd St in independence Missouri about a week or so ago I witnessed an employee or an employees significant other in a red car sitting right outside the Marcos door a white woman about 35-40 years of age was screaming out her car window towards a white SUV calling the African American male driver the “N word” and flipping the car off. I have spoke to the employees inside and they refused to give me a name or an HR phone number to complain to. I would’ve called as soon as it happened if I would’ve been able to find a better way to contact management. I hope Marcos doesn’t condone racial slurs or indecent behavior/comments like the one made by this white female. Whether she was on the clock clocked in and driving or merely waiting for her boyfriend to get off work. This is upsetting on managements behalf for letting discrimination and harassment to continue without any repercussions or consequences on the employee in question. They are obviously not worried about their perception to the outside world considering anyone driving by or parked in the parking lot could easily see/hear what was going on/being said. I’m not too sure what the people in the white suv did to upset that woman but I am sure it could not have been anything bad enough to warrant that type of response or that type of reaction from an employee.

No stars really I went to pick up my food and saw a man in a Marcos uniform making out with a girl in a Marcos shirt and she had a black warmer bag so I assume she's a driver that's inappropriate in the work place and not something I want to see when picking up my pizza. I believe it's in all work handbooks that a manager can't be dating a crew member due to the imbalance of power dynamic. I truly hope you get your staff at this location under control.

Horrible customer service. I was not given my side cups that I paid for and when I called they said they put th in and the didn't they put in a ranch I didn't order and when calling they said well what do you want me to do about it. I asked if they could deliver them and they said no sorry not for just side cups of jalapeños. I came all away from cross town to pick up and was told sorry nope! Like wow I will not be back!

This place is the worst The GM there wears shorts and mis matched socks all the time he is never helping his crew. The quality of the food has gone downhill since he started. I wouldn't eat here if I was paid to. If I could give no stars I definitely would.

Ordered here ever since I came to missouri. Great pizzas and cheesy bread. crust even tastes good microwaved the day after and its still soft after being reheated. If you go to pickup, the lobby is small so it can get crowded sometimes. Not a dine in spot. But relatively your in and out pretty quick and your just there to pickup your pizza so not really an issue.

I was in here a couple of days ago and the chunkier fella with the bushy beard(which should be in a hair net) and two different color socks and wearing shorts (I don’t think that’s appropriate for a food place) added meat to my pizza after baking it using the same unchanged gloves he touched the phone, computers, and digging through boxes of condiments with. I don’t think I’ll be back
