Must be under new ownership or management. Ordered from here for years. Manager was very rude when I called to tell them there was no spinach or bacon in my bowl and no extra black olives on the pizza. Plus the receipt shows that they were out of mushrooms so instead of refunding the cost they said they added extra of other stuff!?!?

We waited for our food for over an hour and it still wasn't even in construction. We called and there was only 1 person working and he said he was backed up 70 orders. We weren't reimbursed for our time wasted and I have hungry kids. They've wasted a ton of time and I have to put my kids down to bed now right after late dinner.

I ordered on the web site to our hotel room the forgot most of our order and they made it right quickly I was very happy and everyone was very nice thank you

Edit: this location has gone so down hill they need to shut down. Almost 8 months after the initial review they send a we noticed you haven’t been around and we can see why letter. As our sorry take a 50 percent off a normal menu priced item coupon. What a joke. After charging me more than the website said, and it’s clear by recent reviews that this is still an on going issue. Look the recent review about getting the 2 xl pizza for about 23 dollar review. Seriously how has corporate not investigated this place yet and lay the hammer down on the terrible franchise. Look elsewhere if you want pizza or go to the blue springs location. They actually honor their prices and don’t have an attitude towards you if you use a coupon.
PSA: If you order online or through the app and don’t pay online they will not honor the price in store. No where in the online ordering on their own app or on the website does it say you have to pay online to get coupons. I won’t be going back ever again, that is a joke. This either a store owner decision or a corporate one. I don’t hold it against the employees they were doing their job but I was not expecting to pay more than the stated price when I put the order in. No other pizza restaurant requires payment online only to receive the coupon price. So either the franchise owner is trying to get more money out of their customers which is gross and should be investigated by corporate. Or it’s corporate doing it which in that case avoid Marcos from now on. I’d avoid going to location unless you want to pay more than what the order says.

Pizza lover here, decided to order pizza from here. i usually order from papa johns but decided to change it up, and got a really werid vibe im assuming from the manager. She was going on about how I shouldn't have been aloud to use a coupon for the pizzas I got. She was mad that the coupon I used let me get 2 xl for like 23 bucks. You think they would be happy to have a new customer. After this I honestly don't think I'll ever buy Marcos pizza again.

Don't bother going to this location anymore, it's been downhill since February. It's under new management yet again which is somehow worse than before. None of the equipment/dishes are washed or sanitized correctly and food is prepared without any thought of contamination.

This was the worst order I have ever had at the Independence, MO Marcos on Sunday, 9/14/25 around noon. The pizza & breads ticks were dripping will oil or grease & every thing was undercooked. I'll never go back

My husband and I had a long, exhausting week, and we just wanted a pizza, breadsticks and cinnamon squares. I put in our order for delivery at around 8 pm. The manager said 30 minutes until the delivery time. I was very clear about my address and street name! At 8:45 I get a call from driver # 1 saying he’s at my house. He was clearly not at my home! I live on Osage Village Drive but the manager out in Osage Street! Thst address and my address are 15 minutes apart from one another. I gave him the correct street name and no pizza order ever showed up! I called back and spoke to the manager. I addressed the street name issue and she promised to get us our food asap! Driver # 2 calls and she gave him Osage Street too! At 9:30 pm thst driver called and I told him I didn’t want an hour and a half old order! That our food was to be considered “ dead “ after being in two drivers cars now driving our food all around town and back to the store and back out all over town again! I called the manager again and she promised that a Marco’s delivery driver had our fresh cooked food at would be at our house on Osage Village Dr in 10-15 minutes. Again Driver # 3 was also given Osage Street 15 minutes in the opposite direction of where we live! Three times in a row - REALLY!!?? By 10:30 at night we still had no food and we were very upset and frustrated! I received a text message from a random person late last night saying they have our food, with a photo of our food on their kitchen counter! It said - Dear Mr. Smith, I believe your order was delivered to our house so you may want to call the store and speak to their manager! The manager was very rude, had an attitude and she had no clue how to rectify the situation. I guess being rude to customers who paid for food and never got it was the best option. We need a full refund for food we never received and an apology for the crappy customer care or the lack there of. It sad because we have loved eating here ever since they first opened this location. We have been long time customers. Guess we will take our business to Square Pizza or Papa John’s from now on.
sad when I got home with the food my breadsticks were so under cooked we had to throw them away and it was to late to go all the way back to the store to get a fresh one :(
(Literally only cooked the outside of the bread and it was so raw and stingy 😭)
Always a great experience with this Marcos. Never had any issues, makes a great Date Night with the wife going to Rapid Fire Arcade down the street and then coming to get Marcos right after!
