Just a great meal. Only issue was you are 16 + hours from our home in Indiana!! Ron, our server, was awesome and the food was delicious . I also had a to go order for your killer beans and coleslaw and both were ready at our dinner conclusion too. Online order was made the day before and was seamless. YOU guys rock!! Thank you!

Best brisket I've ever had. Fast service. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

It was easy to get in and eat, and the staff was nice. We both ordered the brisket and turkey, and they tasted great. No gristle or fat, nice cuts smoked. We got our food about 8-10 minutes after we ordered, and we're check on by our waitress may times. I'd recommend this place and I plan on visiting again.

This place is so yummy. I'm not from here and it was very nice dining alone. The service was fabulous. I got the burnt ends platter and it was delicious. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

I'm a Dasher for Door Dash & have delivered for this place many times over the last four years. So, when I say this place has a great reputation, I mean it!
The guys who work at the front are top notch! Their food is excellent as well!
I had to try out their menu personally because the customers I delivered to were raving about this place.
Needless to say, my wife & I were not disapointed!
Great food, great staff, great place for just the right combination of dinning!
(It's a favorite of many locals in and around here).

The pulled pork with barbecue on the side was good but could have used more barbecue. Mac and cheese was ok. Potato salad was not good.

Never been here

Great place for tasty and fast bbq! We we in and out in 30 minutes! Burnt ends were tender and delicious, coleslaw was great and beans were good. Our server was kind, and checked on us often. We didn’t have to wait long for drink refills either which was great! I liked the look/atmosphere of it inside too.

My favorite place in Kansas City. The bbq sauce is what puts it over the top and makes it the best. Makes Jacks Stack taste dull. The original Independance location has a very nice, cozy, romantic feel. Great date spot..
