Described in one word...NOPE. This ain't it. In the BBQ capital of the world (Kansas City), Smokehouse should be known as Outhouse. Burnt ends- dry, no flavor (smoke or otherwise), fries- bland, mac & cheese- you can't be serious. The only thing halfway edible was the sausage. Do yourself a favor, stay home, and make a grilled cheese sandwich.

THE BEST BBQ IN KANSAS CITY HANDS DOWN. THE BEST SMOKED MEAT, AWESOME BEANS AND A GREAT VARIETY OF OTHER SIDES. THE PORTIONS ARE GENEROUS. I LOVE THE JUNIOR SMOKEHOUSE SANDWICH SO MUCH I EAT CARRYOUT TWO TO THREE TIMES A WEEK.

Bland dry food... Painted on sauce.. I'm from NC and have gotten better BBQ from a grocery store... To be a supposed local owned family business, the food quality was that of some corporate company that cut costs on quality for higher profits... Very disappointing..

I took a group of nine people from an independent living community here for lunch. They seated us together and the waiter, Wyatt, was very patient, attentive, and helpful. Everyone was pleased with their meal and got what they wanted in a timely manner. The food, service, and atmosphere was all excellent. One of the residents asked if we get a senior discount, so our waiter checked with the manager and everyone got their senior perks! Thanks Wyatt!
