I absolutely would have given this five stars, but I was disappointed that their menu has changed significantly. It's still a fantastic place to go to hang out with some friends and just chill with a drink and a snack.

Go! Sit down, have a drink, grab a game, order some food (spinach & artichoke dip is awesome)! Husband & I were just passing through and stumbled upon. Weren't sure when we walked in, but SO glad we stayed. Had a great time.

Recently took Amtrak from Kansas City to Jefferson City to pick up a young relative. Had time to pass before catching the evening train back to KC, so stopped in and very please we did. I appreciated the variety of charcuterie boards, including gluten free options, which made a perfect afternoon snack. We found a variety of suitable, including the all time classic Rock'em Sock'em Robots which our young relative loved! Service was friendly and prompt, and vibe was bright and welcoming. Would definitely return!

Fun idea. Great service. 3 of the 5 games were so broken they were unplayable. Another did not have instructions.I believe periodicity inspecting the games, or inspecting them upon return would be beneficial.

Great food, games were so much fun, service was great, and would definitely recommend for family or friends. Only thing I wish was better was the cost of drinks was about the same as the food, so wish they would make those a little more reasonable. All in all spent $70 for 4 people for about 2 hours of fun.

Very fun and creative environment. Really liked the decor on the wall and the entire buildings aesthetic. Lots of exposed brick. Very cool copper plates on the ceiling.I didn't actually know this place existed but I'm very glad we found it. There is a musician named Bill who does some old 80s covers to stuff that is more modern like Taylor swift. He handed a very nice atmosphere and just a fun small town feel to the place. The entire premise of this place is that they have a LARGE selection of board games. Many in a child arena all the way up to games like munchkin. I'm sure that you could find something to play. They also have dialy special events or discounts, like a state employee happy hour on Wednesday.
Kid-friendliness: They had a whole area, The "kid corner" that was dedicated to boardgames appropriate for younger kids.

This venue is warm and inviting. The sandwiches were good and the pricing was reasonable. We were able to play games as long as we liked as well and they had many selections. The staff was friendly and helpful too. I will definitely return and recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing night out.
We walked in around eight. An employee saw us and ducked in the back. We were the only ones in there. Guess he didn't want to be bothered with one customer. Too bad. We went to BW's bar in Jeff City. Had a great time!
