High Rise Bakery Reviews
Best breakfast & brunch in town! Absolutely love their seasonal drink special & the staff is made of literally the nicest & coolest people. Loveeee High Rise!
First and foremost this place is amazing, food, atmosphere and the staff are all out of this world! I know downtown has several coffee shops but this one is number one, it's not over priced and the menu changes ever season.
Great local restaurant for excellent coffee, breakfast, and lunch!

High Rise Bakery is a well-known spot that offers excellent coffee, cappuccinos, and lattes. Their breakfast menu is impressive, featuring dishes like avocado toast, fresh pastries, and homemade pop tarts. Customers also enjoy the full-on breakfast plates, including gluten-free options and the popular IPA biscuits and gravy. The staff is friendly and quick, creating a warm atmosphere. Visitors praise the delicious made-from-scratch homemade food, especially the cinnamon roll with near-perfect icing, which is a great treat for a splurge. The location is convenient downtown, close to the Capitol building, with free street parking just a short walk away.
Recently, many customers have noted how busy the bakery can get, which they see as a good sign of its popularity. The coffee and food are consistently described as delicious, and service is often highlighted as a standout feature. One customer mentioned that the Americano was served at the perfect temperature, and another said the croissant was the best they’ve ever had in Missouri. Although some have experienced a slightly longer wait time, they felt it was worth it. Whether you're in the mood for coffee or breakfast, High Rise Bakery is a great place to visit in the capital or on the way to the Lake of the Ozarks.
