Originally 5 star, but seeing profile on Public Square is a no go for me.
Lots of coffee drinks to choose from and tasty bites to go along with the drinks.

I loved Joplin greenhouse when I first started going. I always felt so welcomed and at home. Recently their whole marketing target seems to have really shifted. The staff is nearly all women and their posts and advertising on social media is entirely tailored to women. I’m a man and learned about plants from both of my parents. Gardening from my dad and houseplants from my mom. So naturally it stuck and became a big hobby. But when your top store in the area starts marketing events and building a community around girl’s night, galentines, and closet cleanouts. You start to isolate customer demographics. Trivia nights probably their last hope. I used to buy my plants here and some of my mediums. Now I only go once in a blue moon because I rather spend more time in shops that appreciate more than just one type of customer. I highly recommend Matkins in Bentonville. And Etsy’s greenescape. Because yes. A Thai constellation should never be more than $30. In fact most plants aren’t near that price. You can find starter plants of any kind for $15 tops and get it shipped to you. And any greenhouse that makes it’s customers feel included is much more worth my time. Matkin’s is a jungle! It’s greenhouse nearly triple the size. Sorry Joplin!

It has been clear to me that it's always a hit or miss with this place and their coffee+service.
I ordered 5 drinks, straight from their spring menu and even added Anna's Fav (sparkling lavender lemonade), straight to the point and simple. The outcome: 2 out of 5 drinks came out correct.
It's frustrating because I'm already paying a lot for these drinks because I appreciate their quality ingredients (even left a tip)! And to top it off, the young lady gave a visible attitude when I came back to fix a drink of mine.
I understand it gets busy and new hires still learning, but there's gotta be a better way to fix this. It would be nice to see a difference soon.
Anyway, my fav drink so far was the Blue Moon Matcha. Would recommend it for first-timers like myself.

This place wasn't what I expected. I asked a local business man for a breakfast recommendation and he pointed me here. I was looking for a full service staff and expanded menu. Neither is available at the greenhouse.
This is a walk up to the counter and order from a limited menu of waffles, wraps, and a burrito along with a variety of hot and cold drinks. They call your name when your order is ready and you go to the counter and get it.
The food is simple and good. The coffee was good, and the atmosphere is a nice place to meet someone for coffee or other beverage and a snack. Tables are spread around the establishment for a more private experience.
Parking is plentiful as it shares a large lot with a Food for Less grocery store nearby. This is also a greenhouse and flower shop.

Second coffee of the day, Mrs. K. and I stopped here on our way out of Joplin. We enjoyed a perfect latte that was light and creamy and perfectly foamed.
With it, a piece of avocado toast. the avocado was great, the crumbled cotija on top was great but the odd thing is that this avocado toast was not toasted. A nice slice of fresh bread but just that. No toasting. Odd.
It's a nice space with seating where you can sit with a laptop, a koi pond and of course, the full greenhouse and nursery where you can seek out the things you need for your green thumb.

This place has went in and out through the years for me. Sometimes it was amazing, sometimes not so much. But I have been going now almost weekly for a few months. They have been consistently pretty good. The baristas are nice, they have a good selection and they are relatively quick even when busy. They are not artisan coffee, but they are good for some fun flavors and concoctions. Their puffles are also really good.

The Joplin Greenhouse and coffee shop is where I spend at least one afternoon every week working. The team is the best and they always remember my favorite hot tea with honey. I am allergic to milk and today I was ecstatic to be able to order an affogato with oat milk ice cream! so amazing. Thank you!
This gem has coffee, goodies and sells plants! The employees are very helpful, and the variety of plants is great.
