Maybe the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Nobody here knows what to do with their hands. An absolute dud; everything was bad, and I mean ALL OF IT.
Food was extremely good. Good portions for a great price. Alex our server did an amazing job. Gave my down syndrome brother a special plate for him to eat on the house!!
Homemade EVERYTHING. They even make their own ladyfingers for their homemade tiramisu. All was excellent including the Italian selections of beer and wine. The server was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure the pacing was perfect. Go ahead and order the full course meal with appetizer, entree, and dessert. You won't be disappointed.
I love their food and order from them regularly. On two separate occasions, I ordered from DoorDash and had several dashers attempt to pick up my order and when they arrive they say they are closed. I understand that things happen especially with small businesses, but this is just not good practice and wastes the dasher’s time and gas. If they are closing early they need to turn off DoorDash orders. I don’t care that I didn’t get my order. It would just be nice to have communication from the store. They just turn off the lights and refuse to answer the phone even though they know there is an issue. I am a loyal customer even if it’s through DoorDash and that should matter.
Everything was so amazing. The food, the waitress, the atmosphere. Will most definitely be going back!
Where to literally start, For one I have never left a review for a business, WiseGuys, Deserves a review unlike any other place you have been, it's not just a restaurant it's that feeling of longing for home, the feeling you've been searching for, once you open the door you know you found it. The WiseGuy Family is exact that Family. If you've been searching for Authentic Italian Food, we'll this is your sign to go to WiseGuys. The food is cooked to profection, The sauce is made daily with fresh ingredients, herbs blended perfectly into a texture that wouldn't even bother a texture sensitive individual. The service in EVERY area was Absolutely Amazing. You don't need a reservation no need to call ahead, They are Located on Main street. WiseGuys will definitely be worth your while to go check out. My meal and a taste of my husband's meal brought literally tears to my eyes. The presentation of the food placement, to the warmth of the sauce and pasta, to the ultimate explosion of taste and not just any taste, fresh made from love taste, It's definitely not a taste you can buy in the store. The WiseGuy family is definitely My Family now.. Much Love to My favorite New Chef to My New favorite Server and of course to the rest of the family.. I will definitely return multiple times a month.

The food was absolutely amazing!! By far the best Italian food I have had in a long time. The service was great and the Chef is amazingly talented.

My son and I took my wife for Mother’s Day. We arrived about 6:30 Saturday evening. We were able to get a table immediately. I was a little concerned about that. The menu was a good variety offering appetizers, sandwiches, salads, pasta, chicken, beef, and seafood. There was a full bar. We got wine and it was delicious. Ordered fried ravioli for an appetizer and it was tasty as well. The main dishes come with a salad. The bread is a homemade focaccia bread and is really good too. My wife had the chicken Parmigiana. It was a huge portion and was very good. My son ordered the tortellini with Alfredo and it was also very good. I had the pappardelle bolognese. It was delicious. We splurged and got the spumoni cheese cake, Tiramisu, and limoncello cake. All were good but the cheesecake was our favorite! We are very picky Italian eaters and will not eat at the chains here locally. This was such a pleasant surprise. We can’t wait to take friends back. The servers were really good.
Love it. And approve of the new location!
WISEGUYS was phenomenal and one of the best restaurants in town when they were on east 7th — and they've somehow upped their game and gotten even better since moving into Downtown! The owner Orlando has a deep passion for food (on top of being a very personable and fun guy to chat with) and it comes through in every dish they make. The atmosphere of the new location is lovely, too. Fills a big hole in the Joplin food scene. So excited and happy for the WG crew.
gross and nothing is the same even service was horrible
HARDLY EVER do I leave 5 stars. My dad and I went in for lunch. The most comfortable atmosphere I’ve ever been in. The chef (Chum Lee or Chuck Lee so sorry I didn’t get your actual name) came and sat with us giving me tips on cooking my steaks. Where does that happen? You tell me. I’ve never seen such a more family orientated comfortable restaurant ever. They literally make you feel like you are Al Capone and that important. Legit one of my fav spots in Joplin. A MUST go.
