It is going out and still feeling at home. The service was great! This is not the kind of place where you drink and run. Settle in have a drink or two and pretty soon your as comfortable as the books on the shelves.
Afterword is a treat any day! Some of the best (and friendliest) bartenders in KC plus a wonderful rotating menu of cocktails (and mocktails!) for any tastes/pallets. A must-see spot for any book lover's night out. 11/10!
Really enjoyed my visit here. Been meaning to make it out here for a while. Cocktail bar with books for reading and sale, lots of board games, some comfy couches. Solid mocktail list. Cocktails are in the $13-15 range, mocktails are $10-12. Wines by the glass or bottle also available, as well as weekly specials, happy hour (including 10% off a book purchase during HH!), coffees, and teas. Great place to hang out in the crossroads. No food available.
