My experience at Aixois was for a special event (Royal Afternoon Tea by Tea Market). The menu was specially prepared to pair with different teas. The food was divine. My favorite was the gazpacho. I will return to eat in the restaurant.
We have been to Aixois a couple of times in the past and we thought we had a good, not great, meal. This time we went for lunch and we just weren't impressed. We both had the French onion soup and it was just OK, it seemed to have a herb forward taste and something was off with the texture or taste of the bread. It also seemed to need more onion. Monday at noon with my friend. Found Belgian beer ?! We shared a Quiche Lorraine with beets gazpacho, Terrine Maison, and Crème Brûlée. Everything was tasty but the terrine, too bland. Service was very good and the patio is a gem. I’ll be back!
