This place was nasty as hell they treated us like we didn’t belong there the food was horrible and the guy kept coming to the table like we were gonna dine and dash I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND

Please train your servers to be attentive and timely when serving customers. Our server, who has a great personality, just kept forgetting to check on us. We had to keep asking for everything! That's annoying, especially when our tab was $90! Whether a customer spends a little or a lot, a server should be of service and check on their tables. I don't entirely fault her, as it seems she needs more training on the job.

She needs to know the cost of drink from the bar. I shouldn't be left guessing what the cost is.

Moving on from that, the restaurant has a good and casual environment, but they charge as much as a restaurant in Chicago! I know, my husband and I live there. That's too high, especially for Zona Rosa.

Also, get rid of the surcharge when paying by credit card, especially for customers spending a lot on their tab. That's the cost of doing business!

Great price and family friendly

There are places you go to eat—and then there are places that feel like an experience the moment you walk in. Añejo is the latter.

From the start, there’s a kind of energy that’s hard to fake—warm, a little electric, like everyone there actually wants to be there. The space feels intentional without trying too hard, and the food lands exactly where you hope it will: bold, clean, and memorable without being overworked. Every plate felt like it knew what it was doing.

But what made the night stay with me was the people.

Alex has that rare ability to read a table without making a show of it. Attentive, sharp, and genuinely present—everything arrived before we had to ask, and every recommendation hit. It never felt transactional. It felt taken care of.

And Becky—there’s a warmth there that changes the entire tone of the experience. The kind of hospitality you can’t train. She made the whole night feel easy, like we were regulars even if it was our first time in.

You can find good food in a lot of places. What’s harder to find is that combination of atmosphere, attention, and people who actually care about how your night unfolds.

Añejo gets that right. And because of Alex and Becky, it doesn’t just feel like a place you visited—it feels like somewhere you’ll come back to. Alexis was also amazing.

We’ve been to this location several times and are always telling people about it to get them to come out. We took some friends there today and Keyla was our server and she was nothing short of amazing! She was engaging and friendly but still professional. I highly recommend this location and if you’re fortunate enough to get Keyla as your server, just know you’re in for some top notch service!

If you come ask for Keyla, she was the sweetest and even educated us on some their Tequilas, which were delicious.

The service was tremendous and the food and drinks were just as good! Keyla was outstanding and made sure that we were taken care of! Will be back very soon!

I was so disappointed with our visit. Last time was good, but this time was not. The barria tacos were not good at all. Super disappointed

Waiter was phenomenal, food was good, at the place is super nice, so overall we had a good time and enjoyed the overall experience. Salsa is a little lack luster, but the margaritas are really good. Swings and roundabouts. If you are real foodie, then you'll enjoy it, but won't probably write home about it. The staff are great though, and the service is top notch. If you want the best service, ask for Alexis (aka, Macadoo from Ted Lasso!)

Absolutely LOVE Anejo! I was craving these delicious quesadillas and almost thought they didn't have them anymore because I couldn't find them on the menu but they did! Highly recommend the meal and highly recommend the restaurant! Great service, wonderful people! 🫶🏻❤️
