Terrific food, people, and atmosphere! All are a Kansas City classic! An experience you dont want to miss. They serve three types of sauce - classic (vinegar), Rich and Spicy, and Sweet Hot (mild heat with sweeter sauce taste).
I was looking for a true, hometown feeling location to experience KC BBQ and this really felt like the place. I know some comment it's not in the best neighborhood. But my home is Michigan. I know Detroit. If you don't give some love to the local spots, you'll lose what makes a city special and unique. This place isn't going for flash, it's all about the meat and BBQ. Just went and tried this place for the first time after it was recommended to us. We thought it was amazing. The food was awesome and it was a cool experience. Everyone was friendly and we enjoyed a ton of food and were so excited we didn’t even get a picture of it.
