I had never heard of this place until my daughter asked for a pumpkin pie for her birthday, a July birthday. Needless to say, they had pumpkin pie in July, and it was phenomenal. I'm for sure going to try some of their other pies. All the pies in the case looked so good.

Believe people when they say this is the greatest key lime pie in Kansas City. I had previously gone to the same pie shop for 20 years. When they couldn’t fulfill my order for the 4th of July I found Ashleigh. This was easily the greatest pie I’ve ever had. It was made with a perfect blend of tartness and sweetness. It had to have been made by a magician with the freshest ingredients. I’m currently trying to figure out the next occasion I can justify ordering a pie for.

A couple years ago, I discovered Ashleigh's raspberry rhubarb pie. And I thought that was the best tasting pie I'd ever had. When we stopped by on May 15th, I tried the berry patch pie and I realized, it doesn't matter what pie I get at Ashleigh's - they are all going to be the best pie I've ever eaten. Case in point, I stole a bite of my husband's apple crumble and that was INCREDIBLE! Oh so good! I wish I'd had more room in my belly because she had key lime pie and peach pie the day I was there...
