Sk8bar is awesome! Its great place to just be yourself, and the shows are awesome!
It's down the street from where the hipster crap happens. The police have eyes on THEM not us. We're left alone!!!

Sk8bar is a rad metal/punk bar, a new music venue in Westport. The atmosphere is killer, and the staff is laid back and cool. They have a decent sound system and book shows people want to see. Sk8bar offers a flavor much needed in Westport, a potentially new and improved version of what the Riot Room was. While food was not available during one visit, service was prompt. The bar is located down the street from "hipster crap" and is left alone by police. Visitors should check their Facebook for upcoming shows, with Alien Parasite mentioned as a band to catch.
