I purchased half chicken with two sides and a piece of bread. The chicken was very dry! For $15.75, I could have purchased a whole chicken, smoked it and it would have been very much juicy and flavorful! I AM DISAPPOINTED! i tried calling to let them know how I felt and how their product was not up to standard and no one answered the phone. I try to patronize a black um. Restaurant, and this is what I get. This is why I don't patronize my culture because of situations like this. The chicken was horrible.It was so dry that the flat on the wing is non-edible. I will not be back and I definitely will spread the word not to patronize this restaurant.

Got the beef double decker, and it was good. Great portion of beef stacked on sandwich. The only thing I would have changed was to have the sauce on the side and not on the sandwich. The beef was delicious, but I think it's better if the sauce was not on it.

For the first time I ordered the combo plate for $32. The plate was supposed to have beef,ham, sausage, and ribs along with fries which it did. However, for what I received was not worth the price. I had a lot of ham, 2 small ribs, 2 small sausages about the size of a quarter and not even a cup worth of beef. There was more fries and pickles than meat. I felt as if I was given the scraps or the leftovers. Don't trust the online menu prices. For what I ordered, the price shown online does not reflect the real price at the restaurant. The service was slow and not very friendly.

I ordered ribs that were very tough and bland like they were sitting in water. After i pulled off i had to go back because some of my order was missing. When I went in they did replace missing items.
They told me before I placed the order they prefer cash and if you pay with cash they want exact change and if you pay with a card there would be a fee. Most places charge a fee when using a credit card now a days I didn't mind. I've been there before and food was OK.

This review gets a 3 because of the small portion of rib tips I was given. I paid 21.00 for tips only, I was thinking it would at least be a large tip. This wasn't even a small tip. The meat was good, sauce was good, but the portion was ridiculous.

Came in on New Year's Eve to get dinner for the family. Service was bad. The food was o.k. The fries were good I must say. The thing that disappointed me most was that my receipt said $36.80 but the transaction on my card is for $38 and some change. Not cool. I will be returning because it's close to home and sometimes the food is really good. I will just make sure I take cash from now on.
