Leeds needed a new life and FAREWELLKCMO gave it .I was born and raised in Leeds.The building where you are located has a rich history.It was the Dixie Tavern when I lived in Leeds.
Love this little gem of a place. Farewell FOREVER.

Farewell offers cheap drinks, including cheap beer and beer for picky beer snobs, a great atmosphere, and community events like trivia, karaoke, and live music. The venue features an animal room for selfies, beautiful bathrooms that are worth the visit alone, satanic decor, and gnarly environment. It’s a surreal, absurd place where weirdness is welcomed and celebrated, with low-frills authenticity. The friendly and amazing staff and amazing coffee add to the kickass vibe. It is a unique experience in a neighborhood you'd never expect, surrounded by industrial, bringing life into the area. The crowd is very friendly and welcoming. Cash only. Farewell is more than a venue, it’s a community and one of the true gems of Kansas City, utilizing an underserved part of town. The building has a rich history, and the sister venue Howdy is just a few doors down. There are no stairs, making it easily accessible for handicapped individuals.
