Buffalo State Pizza Co. & Bar

Vegans rejoice, they have a separate vegan menu! We got the Vegan El Patron, it was delicious, but we also wish their bread sticks were vegan. Could order beer and vegan ice cream via a QR code at the table. They have something like 15 beer taps, the Boulevard brew I got was great. I would definitely go back.

Kids were running it. Little girl stayed on her phone constantly then she would slice pizza and not wash her hands in between. Unsanitary. Other than that it was great food.

Tried the pizza and it was huge. Got it a second time with a salad and it was great.

Absolute banger sports/dive/ pizza bar. Our family enjoyed it by day, and I can tell this place would go so hard after a bar crawl.

This is my 2nd visit to Buffalo State Pizza. The 1st visit was awesome!! This visit I was not pleased. The young lady with orange hair glasses was rude after she took my order. She would go eat on her food, touch her face go to the kitchen and not sanitize and/or wash your hands the other tall, petite, young lady who had her hair back in a ponytail, she was wiping things down, but then she would play in her hair and go into the kitchen. I simply ordered a Le Royale slice along with Greek Salad. During my first visit same order but the young man allowed me to obtain 2 Greek Ranch Dressings and a Vinaigrette. This time I was told it would be $1.60. or only 1 or each. The pizza was over cooked and for a 10$ full salad didn’t appear as such. I don’t mind paying for my food but I want what I pay for-period. As I was waiting which was longer than 15 min I assumed I would be offered a fountain drink. Ummm..nope not at all. I didn’t expect it but because it was rather warm in the stillness of waiting and feeling like I wanted to pass out-it would’ve been just a courtesy. Next stop Pizza Shuttle

This review is for the MCI airport location only. I ordered a basic cheese pizza and was delivered a barely cooked pizza that looked worse than some frozen pizzas. I decided it may actually need to be cooked, so I took it home rather than eat it in the airport. Once home, I realized this place should remove pizza from its menu. Shameful.

Is expensive but the slices are 8$ but they are huge. Many beer options probably best pizza in Kansas City and for sure best pizza in Downtown Area

Dined in here for the first time and the staff was incredible. Just genuine and kind. Don’t forget they have a back patio! We were some of the only people out there taking advantage of it on a beautiful spring day. Only minor complaint would be that the water dispenser on the fountain machine dispenser cloudy lemonade tainted water. But that’s just a minor thing. Everything else was delightful, and don’t miss out on that cheese bread!
