The food was good! I got a pimento cheese and bacon burger and that was good. HOWEVER THOSE ONION RINGS, those were gasaroonie. The batter to onion ratio was 10/10. Also, the lady at this register was very kind. Her pink hair was as vibrant as her energy. She was very patient with my indecisiveness and for that I'm very appreciative. The system was a bit old so it didn't accept my card (it said I was a fraud ☹️). But thankfully I had cash!

State Burger is exactly what you hope a hole-in-the-wall burger joint will be—unpretentious, fast, and genuinely excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food comes out quickly without feeling rushed or sloppy. Everything is served cleanly on a tray with small condiment bottles, which is a nice, thoughtful touch.
The burger itself is where State Burger really shines. It’s immaculately assembled with fresh, beautiful ingredients, each one clearly placed with care. The bun is perfectly toasted, and the smash-style patties are cooked to perfection with outstanding flavor—rich and beefy without feeling greasy.
The fries deserve their own praise: fresh, hot, and perfectly crispy, exactly how fries should be.
Then the house sauce ties everything together—rich, balanced, and seriously addictive. It elevates both the burger and the fries and easily stands out as one of the highlights of the meal.
Simple food done extremely well, with attention to detail that shows in every bite. I highly recommend stopping in for a good burger.

Employees were friendly and helpful , food was pretty good , my issue was the pricing and the restaurant atmosphere , it feels like an old mall food court , with the prices youd expect maybe something as far as better service but you dine in , you have to get up to grab a heavy tray of food and take it back to your table , not that theres anything wrong with that but to spend 11$ on a burger , 4$ on fries , another 3 for a drink , and on top of that a tip? Id expect some sort of even ground when it comes to service , although the food was good the price is not worth it at all when you can go to chili's and get basically more in terms of pricing , service, and atmosphere.
