The food was good! I got a pimento cheese and bacon burger and that was good. HOWEVER THOSE ONION RINGS, those were gasaroonie. The batter to onion ratio was 10/10. Also, the lady at this register was very kind. Her pink hair was as vibrant as her energy. She was very patient with my indecisiveness and for that I'm very appreciative. The system was a bit old so it didn't accept my card (it said I was a fraud ☹️). But thankfully I had cash!

State Burger is exactly what you hope a hole-in-the-wall burger joint will be—unpretentious, fast, and genuinely excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food comes out quickly without feeling rushed or sloppy. Everything is served cleanly on a tray with small condiment bottles, which is a nice, thoughtful touch.

The burger itself is where State Burger really shines. It’s immaculately assembled with fresh, beautiful ingredients, each one clearly...

SALTY!!! All I ordered was the paleo burger, no sides. I had to push through to finish it, it was so salty.
Bought it to go, otherwise I would have asked for a replacement or my money back.
