Burnt End BBQ in Crown Center

Food was great, expected bigger portions.

Food was really good!! Had the ribs (fall off the bone), burnt ends and brisket. The ribs were 10/10, brisket 7/10 and burnt ends (melted in your mouth) 10/10
Overall the food was on point!!!!

Most times I come here things are great no issues, today, Memorial Day, came
In to get two cold sides and a butter cake. They had one person at the counter one person making food and one person in the back. Took 15 minutes to get a side of slaw, potato salad and a butter cake to go. Whoever was in the back put the two cold
Sides under the heat lamp in the window. Piping hot potato salad I received in my bag which went in the trash so I wouldn’t get sick from eating heated up potato salad. Anyone who had worked in a restaurant knows cold sides never go under a heat lamp. Also other customers food sat up in the window for ten minutes or more just sitting with no one to run food items out. Maybe they were just short staffed on a holiday but please don’t put anymore cold items in the heat window.

This is the best KC BBQ I have found so far! For real i have tried multiple chains that are good but the burn ends hear are the Bees 🐝 Knees!

1st time visit Monday night. Just about Everything we ordered came out cold. Server seemed impatient so the appetizer was ordered at the same time as the entrées. The Mac & cheese with pork made my kid sick. It was thrown up later that night. We showed up at 7 they close at 8 so food temp shouldn't have been an issue. I regret not pointing this out in the moment. Fried cornbread and maybe the chicken Philly was the exception as far as the food temp goes. Taste wasn't an issue. The chicken Philly is worth checking out. While i doubt i would return I wouldn't discourage anyone from going. They do need to know food Temps is a safety issue. Crown center has some new parking payment in place that sucks. The validation didn't work.

I really enjoyed Burnt Ends the burnt ends were very tender and fried cornbread was good an unexpected taste. This is worth a repeat.

Lovely place to eat. Always stop here while im in KC, parking was rough but thats not their fault Burnt End BBQ's fault. I got the Porkinator which is by far my favorite thing on their menu. At 2p on a Saturday service was quick, and the establishment was not super busy. All around if your looking for some of that famous kc bbq, i recommend this place.

When the name starts with Burnt Ends you expect them to be good. This was not my experience today. I ordered the two meat (Brisket and Burnt ends) platter with Mac and cheese and Beans. The Burnt ends were overcooked, dry, and no fat. I couldn't even eat them. I left a photo of the food I couldn't eat. The Brisket wasn't bad a little on the dry side though. The baked beans tasted like someone spilled the liquid smoke in them or added too much. I believe they would have been good with a kiss of smoke rather than being clubbed over the head with the smoke flavor. The Mac and cheese was ok. The sauces where great. The service was OK. It did seem as though I waited quite a while for take out. I was visiting from out of town and I do not intend to return to this BBQ spot.
