“Food was great, seasoned well, and we loved the aesthetic. However for the price you would think you’d get more food. I ordered the egusi soup and that little pot they serve for $28 was not enough and I always get to-go containers for my meals. But this was more of a child’s portion in my opinion.“

“The worst part about this place is the wait. We walked in and ordered curry chicken with rice and beans and a side of plantains and then an order of jerked chicken with the same sides. It had to take at least 40 mins. I personally thought the curry was On point. And the plantains were so sweet, they just hit perfect! Maybe it was perfect timing but this place was spot on tonight“

“e went into our dinner having absolutely no expectations, just wanting to try somewhere new. Boy were we surprised, not only was the customer service absolutely amazing (If you are going ask for Sarah) but the food blew us out of the water! Our absolute favorites were the fritters and the shrimp and grits! We also got a chance to talk to Jims the manager/owner and truly made us feel so welcome and like family! They take their customer feedback very seriously which made it much more of an amazing and enjoyable experience! All of the drinks we had were insane! We tried the old fashion and were absolutely SHOCKED that it was rum and not actually whiskey! They truly know what they are doing there! You will not be disappointed! We will be customers for life! As my husband says, stay curious. Came as customers, left as friends“

“I went to the new location in Parkville for my birthday and the food was delicious! My husband had the best coconut shrimp curry and I had the lamb and lentils. The flavors are all amazing and a simple salad with greens, red onions and tomatoes was one of the best side salads I’ve ever had. Wonderful service and they have a lovely outdoor courtyard. Will definitely be back!“
