This place is mid on all metrics. Pretty poor experience. Low quality food, lifeless atmosphere, and overpriced items. Probably will not visit again unless changes are made.

So glad this place is under new ownership and was told they plan to bring prices back to earth so I can justify eating there more than I have been since covid jacked everything up.

And they have a decent taco Tuesday deal now ?

Always great food and service. Only thing I don’t like is when I forget and drive up on a Monday to get food and see they are closed lol

I've been going here since they opened in the 80s. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly. I always enjoy watching Deal or No Deal. My favorite dish to order is the chicken taco salad in the edible bowl. And of course an apple chimi! We are so thankful the new owners took over so we didn't lose this northland staple.

I've been going for over 20 years. Ppl tend to really like it, or really dislike it. I love it. It is not a fancy place, but a sitdown fast food place. Yes, its simple, but healthier than Taco Bell and I prefer it way over taco bell; and you can watch them, I like that. The best sauce ever. And I love how the employees treat you. A laid back, fun environment, with speedy service. And almost all the employees I've come across are super nice and service oriented.

Mexican pizza was very good

The people working are very nice but way stressed. There were 4 tables and our microwaved food was horrible and took 40 minutes to bring out. No one there knew what they were doing. After 35 minutes I asked for a refund but the cashier didn't know how to do a refund. She kindly offered to pay me with her own money. They ended up giving us a $20 gift card, which was nice but I don't think I'll be back. The Carlito"s nachos are barely a step above what you'd get from a baseball park. Everything was out of a can.

Hateful new owner. Greedy with salsa. Made a rude comment that I had enough, and took away lids. I did not get more salsa then I needed. Literally shocked at his behavior.

Saturday, March 30, was our first time here. It was a phenomenal experience. The order taker took the time to go over Items on the menu as well as offer what was he favorite items. The food was beyond our expectations in taste and presentation. The owner later came out to see how we liked our choices. This type of atmosphere and service are rare these days and it is now one of our favorite restaurants.
