Love Carlitos this location is like the location in raytown but a bit different I've been eating at the one in raytown since I moved to KC highly recommend either location of you like something simple yet feeling with great taste and salsa

I decided to give Carlitos in the Northland a try because I really like the Raytown location. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with my order. I ordered nachos and five tacos, but only received three. The nachos barely had any meat or cheese, and the tacos were just as skimpy.

My boyfriend even mentioned that the bag felt unusually light, but we didn’t think much of it until we got home and saw the food. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. I could have spent my money elsewhere and received a much better meal.

Great customer service, clean. I was pleasantly surprised I hadn't been here in years but I drove by I decided to stop I'm glad I did. I had the enchiladas cheese and onion and nacho cheese dip with a side of chips. Rice was no bueno. Beans yummy. Great vegetarian option

Dont know how they stay in business

Just wow .went their to try something new and boo..wish I didn't come..besides them not having the best customer service,the food was disappointing.had the nachos, and well...taco bell has better nachos had the enchiladas, and I feel I would have had better ones from a TV dinner tray .I wouldn't recommend to anyone

Awesome tacos, burritos, Mexican pizza and the tenderloin is a great sandwich... chicken stripes and fries are great. All fresh . 5 stars.

I love this place! Not because it's the best tasting Mexican food, or that it's authentic. It's classic American-Mexican, like your Midwestern mom used to make. Not giant hot plates covered in cheese and grease. Simple good food.

Very clean, nice staff, food was $22 for 2 people. Quesadilla and hard shell tacos were less than a Taco Bell meal. Empty at the time we went for early lunch so fast service.

I love this place!! I’m not usually in NKC but when I am I stop by Carlitos Mexican restaurant. It’s the best Ma & Pa Tex Mex north’s of the river and maybe even in KC.

Stopped in on recommendation about their taco shells, long time LA Tiara fan and going through withdrawals since they closed. Tried the Carlitos nachos- amazing, fried taco and he ordered 6 tacos- amazing. We live 60 miles east and already planning another visit. And your taco shells- bought 2 dozen!! Talked to your son and he is so proud of this place. Definitely making this a lunch spot when I come into the city for once a month grocery shopping.

Cheese and onion enchiladas are the best

Stopped in today and tried the fried tacos with parmesan cheese on them, they were absolutely amazing!!! The service was quick and workers were very friendly. Place was clean with enough seating and high chairs available. Not to mention, they got the best sweet tea around. Highly recommend stopping in and trying out Carlitos!!
