We went for our first visit last night and we have been non-stop talking about when we are coming back ever since! The dwelling itself is so cozy and quirky, the service was efficient and fantastic, and the food satisfied every taste bud and more. We had the everything plate to start out, then split the three kebab platter and the Pide (must add the egg, so good). While too full for dessert this time, our mouths were watering hearing of the other options. Excited to make this a staple in our KC restaurant rotation!

Such a wonderful experience. Our server, Zoey, was fantastic. The food was fantastic. The location was fantastic. We went early (5ish) and sat close to the bar. Such a cozy, wonderful place. We also spent time and swapped stories with the owner. If I am ever in turkey again, I will absolutely check out the second location. My parter is vegetarian and there were plenty of options. I absolutely recommend trying the meze sampler to start.

This was one of the best Persian inspired places Ive ever tried in America. Was on a road trip from Colorado to Maryland with a buddy, and we stopped here for dinner. Was throughly impressed with the staff the food, and even got to talk with the owner for a while. Great food, great atmosphere, great service!
Popped in on Valentine’s Day weekend, no reservation, and the staff immediately welcomed us at the bar with a full house of patrons. Tom was the bar tender and made the entire experience fun and educational with a fantastic cocktail selection and appetizers to pair

OMG!!! Service is stellar! Atmosphere is chill. Food is out of this world!!! Thomas’s own unique ingredient-fresh cocktails will lubricate your appetite as you settle in and browse the menu. Probably best to just close your eyes, take a sip, and just let your finger land randomly on the menu. Why? Because NOTHING is unpleasant on Adam’s list of savory Mediterranean delights… each item is fresh to order! This is definitely in this KC boys born and raised list of Top Best Dining Experiences ever!

This restaurant is really cute and cozy, but everything was super expensive for the portions that were received (drinks included). Our main course all arrived at different times with the last person receiving their food 25 minutes after the first, and it was cold... Then after spending well over $300, we were told to leave - RIGHT after signing our checks. Ink wasn't even dry. It was a very rude way to treat their customers, and we weren't planning on overstaying our welcome by any means.

It was mom’s night out and We each had appetizers, main course and a round of drinks after dinner, nothing excessive. The hostess was extremely rude and asked us to leave because we had been there too long. Really poor manners after we had paid hundreds of dollars for the peanut servings of food.

A hidden gem in the Westside neighborhood. Incredibly grateful to live around the corner but to all the outsiders, it’s worth driving down the unfamiliar streets to grab dinner here

Impressed! I think this is one the best spots in Kansas City. It might be the best I’ve had since living here. The entire experience is wonderful.
My boss and I went out for dinner with our client. We called ahead and had no waiting upon arrival. We went upstairs to a room with four rustic tables with old mismatched chairs. We started with drinks, the Boulevard Tank 7 was flat. The 'Everything in one Place all at Once' was by all accounts delicious. I enjoyed five of the six spreads. For the main course I had 'Just a Kebab' chicken over white rice with roasted vegetables, onions, pepper, and half a tomato. My meal was delicious. The reason I give Clay & Fire 4-stars is because the main course was not synchronized. Four of us received our food at three different times. Also my bosses meal was badly burnt he informed me after the fact. That's not good as one of the clients ordered and received the same meal at the same time... Latest of all meals, we assume they were forgotten and left in the oven several minutes too long. Someone should have spoken up and sent those meals back, but no one did. It was a great experience for me, but not for all members of our party.

Just had one of the best date night dining experiences ever at Clay & Fire. If you like Iranian, Turkish, or Mediterranean food, I can’t recommend this place enough. The food is fresh and they had vegetarian options for my girlfriend. The service was amazing and our server Tom shook my hand and guided us through the menu. The atmosphere felt cozy and authentic. A+ we will be back
Vegetarian options: There were plenty of vegetarian options and a few vegan options for my girlfriend. She loved the vegan pizza and the appetizer that had 6 dips!
