Cold stone Creamery Ward Parkway Mall

It was so hard ordering. They didn’t know the difference between kitkats and recess. They then acted annoyed when we corrected them. The girl rolled her eyes and said something to the other guys. Just making the whole thing uncomfortable. Also when we asked for a waffle bowl instead of the cone like we had already asked we got some attitude. At the end we asked for spoons and apparently that was annoying too.

I have never had so many issues with an ice cream shop. For starters, I visited a few weeks ago and got 2 shakes to-go for my husband and I. I told the worker that I wanted a nutter butter shake for my husband – she said that they were out of nutter butter so I called him to let him know, and alternatively he wanted a reeces shake. The worker said no problem and started on it. I saw she was scooping out of the bin labeled “root beer” and brought that to her attention to ensure we got the order correct. She said “No, I know this one is the peanut butter because of the way it looks”, I said okay, and let her continue. I brought the shake home to my husband and he immediately says it tastes like rootbeer. I call the store, no answer, so contact customer service to tell them about the experience. The manager, Julie, reached out to me to offer me a free shake and apology.

Fast forward to today, my husband goes to cold stone to surprise me with a shake for our anniversary (he paid for this one). He gets home and it is half way full. I made a joke with him thinking that he had consumed half of the shake on his way home. Wrong. He said the worker gave it to him this way and that he was rude and didn’t want to ask for another. So I drive BACK to Coldstone to get a new shake (again, 15 minute drive) to show up to the store locked and closed. It was 5:00pm. The store is noted to close at 9pm. My frustration grew and I contacted the same manager who said “oh sorry, i’ll give you a $10 gift card”. At this point you’ve got to be kidding me. I just drove 30 minutes round trip, as well as my husband, to get an $8 shake corrected and you offer me $10? I am beyond upset and feel as if this has completely ruined my mood for our anniversary. Won’t be back to Coldstone now even though it was my favorite ice cream place.

I never leave bad reviews, but this was the most disappointing ice cream I've ever had. It had the texture of half hardened glue. My husband and I threw both of our purchases in the trash after trying as they were simply not edible.

Ordered a birthday cake online 4 days in advance, did not have cake ready, or even have the order in their system (despite having the order confirmation). Offered no explanation, could not offer a refund - staff did not know how. Offered to swap out for a pre-made cake but did not have anything similar to what was ordered. This is the second year in a row they have not had a pre-ordered cake ready for pickup so I will not be choosing this location again.

We ordered a birthday cake from here and when we went to pick it up they never made the order.

Let me tell you, I had the best experience here great drinks and Anthony oh boy where do I begin, very very lovely guy. He makes a mean bannana strawberry smoothie. He deserves a raise and a promotion. Will come again

Its too expensive. For one small ice cream, it cost me a little over $7. That's exorbitant and ridiculous

They didn't have waffle cone, or peanut butter ice cream so they improvised which was fine. The young lady seemed to be new and really didn't know what to do. Another lady came from the back and rang our 2 small cream cups up said 14.00 yesterday, but I look at my account and 28.00 has been charged for 2 small ice cream cups. This is ridiculous.

Cold stone has amazing ice cream go try it today at Ward park! I recommend the cotton candy ice cream it’s great!

Overpriced but tastes great. $3 for a cone when the small size is already $7ish. The medium is also $7ish so you don't save by ordering less.

The tables were also dirty. No excuse given that no one else was there.

Once again, they closed early. Don't waste your time! There were 4 other people also asking why they were closed...+ people who also came over after the concert concluded. Staff were not professional and incredibly rude. Hard pass moving forward.

Marshmallows were stale to the point it ruined my whole i cream cuz I said for it to be mixed in. They were so hard I could barely chew them to go down my throat and they stuck to my teeth. The cone did not taste fresh either. Did not enjoy going here…you can tell nothing is fresh.

I was in cold stone creamery about three months ago, and the young lady was very nice and professional. I would return again.
