Fabulous smash burgers and tots!! This is a bar, though. It just sells those food items!!! You scan the qr code to order and pay for your food online, then wait for your order while you grab a drink! It's all in to go bags so you can eat at your seat or finish your drink and take your food home! Water is available to dispense yourself near the pick-up line! My favorite cocktail is the espresso negroni!!!

Sat at bar and asked if they had food ..gal said yea...ordered a beer and then she hands me a card and says I gotta order food on line and go pick up myself!!! Tried to order a Cosmo burger and got wore out doing their process to eat....got pissed ....paid for the beer and went across the street for some actual food with service

I stopped for a burger, and stayed for an evening. The whole vibe of this place fits any generation. Loud music.....but not too loud. Variety on the TVs, excellent staff, and Cosmo Burger...it really can't be beat. It's worth hunting down the parking. I will be back asap Editing my review to add that I have now been back half a dozen times, and am happy to call myself a new regular. Paul and the team really makes this place perfect.

First time here, had seen cosmo burger was the place to try. The food itself is delicious and worth it. But the bar that the kitchen is in was very run down and nasty. All of the tables had food all over them and no one cleaned up or offered to clean the tables. All the seats were EXTREMELY run down and coming apart. To get water you have to get it out of an insulated cooler on a shelf. As far as I know there’s only one person and that is the bartender. Only helping the bar.

I stopped here with my fiancé to get some Cosmo Burger (if you stop in that is a MUST, trust me). We decided to stay for a few drinks at the bar and sat at the bar itself. The bartender was very attentive and made sure that we got both water and our drinks, he even helped my fiancé figure out what to order based on her preferences. I ordered a Black Manhattan and absolutely loved it. They have a massive selection of liquors for you to try and some very good craft beers as-well.

We stopped in on a Friday night mainly to try Cosmo Burger and enjoyed our overall experience. There were no empty seats when we arrived, but we snagged a spot pretty fast. The food options are simple, but well executed. I can't think of anyplace in KC where I've had a better burger. My wife enjoyed the Melon Ball cocktail ($10) and I enjoyed the house Old Fashioned ($12), although I might choose a different bourbon instead of the standard Four Roses yellow label. I also enjoyed a neat Russel's Reserve SB Rye ($16). Service was prompt and courteous. Availability of a whisky list would improve the experience. It was difficult to read the bottles along the wall and it would be nice to see prices when choosing.

Love this neighborhood bar! You can tell they put a lot of time and thought into creating a specific atmosphere, along with a really nice drink menu. But most importantly ALL staff is always so friendly and accommodating, which is definitely the reason I keep returning.

Dodson’s is a little neighborhood bar located in the heart of Waldo right off of 75th and Wornall. They have a great selection of cocktails, beer, and specials. We came for a few drinks on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy! The bar stools are super comfortable, there are plenty of TVs if you want to watch a sports game, and they open the garage for a nice breeze when it’s cool outside. Inside they have Cosmo Burger that serves up fresh smash burgers and tater tots that are absolutely fantastic, we will definitely be back!
