Good food with lots of fresh takes on American classics. Everything we had was good. A bit expensive, but most things in the area were comparable.

I’m normally easy to please, and I will look over alot when it comes to a restaurant.There was only one other couple in the whole restaurant. I ordered coffee, and it was not even luke warm. I asked if I could get some different coffee, and the waitress brewed a new pot. She said what she brought me had been siting for a long time. The next pot she brought me was hot, but as I poured it, it was the color of tea and was like drinking water.I ordered the All American Breakfast, the pancake was raw in the middle, the potatoes were undercooked, and the bacon tasted like it had been deep fried in old oil.The waitress was very sweet, but the food and attention to detail was terrible. Won’t eat here again. $25 for this terrible breakfast.

Fantastic food and service. Our server, Austin, made sure we had everything we needed and offered us coffee/water to take with us. I ordered the French toast - the berries are fresh, the brioche was absolutely delicious and had tons of flavor. My husband got the everything bagel sandwich and breakfast potatoes. He loved the sandwich, and would have loved the potatoes if I hadn’t tried to eat them all. There is also a gentleman, Gia/Geo(?), bussing tables, rolling silverware, etc. he is the SWEETEST! So happy, cheerful, and purely just made both of us smile- we would literally go back for him.

I had an ‘avocado toast’ which was a mediocre egg sandwich with some bacon and avocado. The bartender was wearing a mask (it’s 2024, if you are sick, stay home) and I couldn’t understand anything he was saying. It’s a cute place, but if the other menu items are like the avocado toast, maybe not.

Ok, I hate to do this but it's the truth. We were headed out of town after a weekend getaway and came here for breakfast. The menu is different in an awesome way and we all ordered something different. The coffee cups are big as bowls which was also awesome! I ordered French toast, and it looked so good when it arrived. My daughter got the chicken and waffle sandwich, my friend the blueberry lemon pancakes and her daughter some kind of egg and avocado sandwich. Everything looked and tasted so good, but halfway through my French toast I found a hair cooked into the batter :( I was so upset and couldn't eat another bite. I didn't send it back because I never do unless you want a loogie in your next one. So I paid for it and never said a word. I was the only one who found a hair, of course. I don't live in KC so to say I won't go back doesn't mean much. It was very busy and everything but that was amazing. But a hair can take a 10 experience to a zero. :(

Walked in around 11:00 with a party of 7 the service was fantastic and the quality of the food was amazing. Restaurant is very clean and very fitting atmosphere for the location.

Great Saturday morning breakfast! We started out having Brittani make us two spectacular spicy bloody Mary's, then followed by two perfectly flavorful vanilla cappuccinos. We decided to try the breakfast tacos, and shrimp and grit benedict with a side of breakfast potatoes. What a delightful flavor combo for both entrees. The sweet chili oil that finished the tacos added that punch of flavor to put them over the top. The plating, aroma and beauty of the shrimp and grit breakfast was on point. The combination of tang from the sauce sweetness of the grit cake and spice added at the end made this breakfast my favorite!!
