This has to be my new favorite restaurant in KC! Everything we had was delicious, especially the bread and ricotta, mussels, and oysters. Drinks were great as well. If you want bang for your buck, this place is it. For the quality of food and vibe this place is actually super well-priced!
"dirty, tired environment" mgr met us with a frown when we walked in, needs to learn to smile and be friendlier even if that is not his demeanor. Lots of attitude in that place. No one thanked us when the check was brought or when we left.
Food was great. My wife never had Mediterranean food and this was a great first experience. On top of the food being great the service was top notch. I happened to leave my backpack and the server literally ran across the street with my backpack to grab me before I hopped on the KC street car. Great spot.
