Foo's Fabulous Frozen Custard

Betty is a delight 😊
Went to Foo's because my girlfriend went when she was growing up. We got to meet Betty, Foo's sister who took over the shop and seems to be the mayor of Brookside (she formally welcomed us to her neighborhood). It was so warm and welcoming.
When we asked about flavors, it was sweet to hear her describe the flavors of the people who they were named after.
The frozen custard was delicious, accurate to description and fun. Flavors ranged from the standard to obvious unique. Sizes are appropriate (I feel like nowadays I need to ask for an infant portion), prices are fair. 10/10 feels lucky to have gone and met this gem.

The vanilla custard was more like thick soup. The place also has a terrible smell that I decided to wait for my husband in the car.

I've been going to Foo's since 1990. They're a gem in Brookside. Custard is always excellent.

Insanely high prices. And they charged me more than what was listed. The children working there were unable to answer my questions. I asked for a description of one of the ice creams and he just looked at me and said I don’t know. Then I asked why I was charged $2.50 more than the listed price for a concrete and he said I don’t know. It was overall an awkward experience. I left paying ridiculous price for a concrete that tasted chalky & filmy : /

We love Foo’s! Our favorites are kid me not, coffee toffee heath, trick or treat and coconut ice cream !

Great spot for ice cream! Tried the cookie dough crumble and it was delicious. Fun place to go to with friends and enjoy a treat. They have games available to play while enjoying your ice cream too. 5 star place.

Love coming here for custard and sherbet!

Great flavors and exceptional service offering a wide variety of custards, with options for ice cream and sorbet.The hit of our visit was the Vanilla Shake with black cherries and the Peach Lemonade.Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and appreciated the friendliness of the servers. We will definitely be back again and will make this a mandatory stop on our summer bike rides.
