I chose Fox and Pearl to have my daughter’s Baby Shower and it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere, food and service were wonderful. They made us feel as special as the occasion we were celebrating. What I had envisioned is what I got and more. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I've had better for a lot less. ~$100+/person is easy. After dinner I came back home and made a sandwich because I was still hungry.
Were sat in the basement next to a large group that drowned out our convo so we couldn't speak with our friends. Didn't feel well taken care of from the staff.

One of the most beautiful restaurant spaces in KC. The building itself is really cool and we spent time just wandering around and taking photos before ordering. There are several seating areas, including a basement, which is accessed from a spiral staircase, and an outside patio area with twisting trees and vinery. The food is really good as well. The portions are not huge, but everything we had was fantastic. Especially the cheese! Will definately go back any time we are in the KC area.

Tomato salad & eggplant puttanesca were good. However, waited for about 40 min for pasta. Also it’s listed as an entree but it’s more like a small plate. The server was very nice but they knew we were sharing the meal and didn’t advise that what we had ordered was probably not enough food for two. Shared feedback nicely with manager. Disappointed that they didn’t try to respond in some way. We left hungry.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great! I loved the design choices and the greenery. That was pretty much the only positive of the evening. I Have never been more disappointed with a meal… We had the ravioli and steak for our entrees. After waiting a hour to receive them, they were both cold. The steak was so charred it was pretty much inedible. The ravioli was just okay. For the price point of this restaurant I’m shocked that this is the quality of food they provided. I was very excited to try this restaurant after reading all the positive reviews. It’s unfortunate that my experience was nowhere near as good as everyone else’s.
Drinks were ok. Asked the server for drink recommendations couldn't give me that simple answer. I asked him okay. What's the prettiest drink? Starts going on about how beauty is subjective and all this other hipster crap. I came to spend money on good food and drinks. And if I ask a bar tender what's the best drink I feel like the least he should be able to do is answer that. 😒

I reserved a large table at Fox and Pearl this past weekend to celebrate a joint birthday with a friend. It was our first time visiting after hearing so many great things, and we thought it would be the perfect spot for a special occasion.
Unfortunately, the experience fell very short of expectations. While I understand the automatic 20% gratuity for large parties, it felt like our server knew this and put in minimal effort. She was noticeably unfriendly and seemed uninterested in answering questions about the menu, which left a poor impression.
Despite the great atmosphere and well-crafted drinks, the overall service experience left our group feeling disappointed—especially given the amount of money we spent. Based on this visit, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it for larger parties expecting attentive service.

The grilled chicken wings were amazing. The restaurant is definitely more setup towards small groups than large groups. Most of the tables were for two people. Is a good date restaurant.
