We came here for my sister's birthday and had a horrible experience. We sat in the bar and the service was okay a bit slow as to be expected when you have one person running around. Most restaurants have at least two bartenders on the weekend to accommodate the increased business but not this place or at least the time we were in. We had a group of 6, the food came out at one time but 3 of our meals were not hot. Okay fine. Then we go to order a dessert and it takes over 20 minutes to come out that we actually started to tab out to make it to our next event. It was very frustrating watching our bartender Isabella standing around talking now that the rush was over (this was at 2pm, no rush of customers at that time) The server offered no remedy, did not even call her manager to talk with us. We were not overly demanding and a pleasant group and in general don't believe people should be treated this way. So I went to the host and asked for the manager who was rude from the start, glazed eyes and just emotionless. Caleb White the general manager listened to me and then looked me in the face and said what do you want me to do about it? I'm sorry you feel this way. Like no sir this is what happened this is about the poor service you and your staff provided. It was really unacceptable. He was dismissive and very condescending. I expressed that I felt he did not care as someone in his position as the general manager he was very unprofessional and clearly does not care about his job in any way shape or form. Very very disappointed and won't be back to this place. The Granite City at the legends is way better with an amazing staff. Do you and your family a favor and go to any other restaurant in Zona Rosa.
Based on some of the other reviews I read the poor service and slow food is not a one off and developing quite the reputation for crappy places to dine. Do not spend your time and money at a place that does not value the customer.
Ariana is THE BEST bartender! Welcoming, efficient and attentive!
This has always been a great place to grab a bite to eat. We had a server named Mareah the last two times we were in and she was great! Super friendly and took fantastic care of us(and her other tables too). Way to go Mareah!
You guys charged a tip amount of 27% without asking. I haven’t approved to put a default tip amount by you guys. There was a guy who done this.
Please , people be precautious when you give your card.worst experience in this restaurant
Hadn’t been here for a bit and had family in town so decided to go to granite city for dinner. Very disappointed in the food, my chicken artichoke sandwich looked like a McDouble from Mac’s my wife’s bruschetta salad was bland and the Nashville chicken tenders and Asian shrimp tacos were just ok. Really disappointed from past experiences and expectations.
I love the daily deals and the brunch is top notch! My husband and I enjoy going to happy hour to share the wings and drink a beer flight!
Can’t rate the food because we waited for 30 minutes only to receive the wrong order, even though my wife and I ordered the same exact entree. We just up and left. The waitress seemed distracted by talking to her friends that were there hanging out, rather than providing her name and quality service. Don’t recommend this place and will not be back!
The service was absolutely fantastic. The food was phenomenal!
We did the weekend brunch in late December. The workers were friendly, the food was refilled often.
The reason for the lower rating is the food is repetitive. It’s the same menu as a year ago, the same menu as six years ago. Keep the items you have, rotate in seasonal dishes on top of them. We may return more often for more variety, we can get the same basic breakfast food everywhere
Positive is our kids will eat a meal at the brunch buffet.
The atmosphere is kind of dull. It’s fine, it’s nothing special.

I love this place! The food is almost always on par, and the beer is really good! I've had mostly positive experiences at this location... with one or two little issues with the food and bugs. Nothing major. I'd like to see them stake the prices, evertime I come back everything seems a little higher.

This Granite City location is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in the Northland. I've been here about 50 times the last decade and I have to say I have consistently been impressed. Their appetizers, lunch and dinner options are all good. The Sunday brunch buffet is a little pricey but it is very delicious and always well stocked even when it's very busy. They have an app and it has some decent deals on it from time-to-time. Service has always been a 5/5 here and the atmosphere is top-notch, it is always clean and smells great. I'm not sure who has been running this location but you sir or madam are doing a phenomenal job. Keep it up!

This restaraunt is a joke anymore! Had several issues prior to this but decided to give 1 more chance. Get home with our food and my meal is missing the Cole slaw and comeback sauce. Wife's meal has none of her sauces ,sour cream. We call and all we got was oh well we are sorry nothing we can do for ya but if you want that stuff you can drive back. Piss poor customer service. This is not how you treat paying customers. Well granite city owners your manager on duty tonight caused you to lose customers forever
We had gone to Granite City previously for a holiday meal and it was wonderful, but yesterday the Thanksgiving meal was terrible. We were very, very disappointed. We dined in. There were 6 of us. We all felt the same about the quality of the meal. It was extremely expensive for what we got (regarding quality).
We just had the Thanksgiving Buffet for $35 a person. It was absolutely horrible. We came around 5:00pm, it wasn't that busy as expected, but not empty. They did not replenish the food for the buffet! We kept going back to empty food bins at 5:00pm! That was so disappointing... The quality was worse than a poor quality buffet, we were expecting nicer food items, also more food items bc there were only 6-7 food selections, one of which was a gross thin watery gravy. The pot roast was super chewy and hard to cut. And NO MASHED POTATOES!? The spoon handles to serve the food were sticky and caked with food on them. They should change those out after awhile! Only bitter Pecan Pie for dessert, no other dessert options. We will not be going back for this food event. It was extremely lazily done. Not worth the price. If Golden Corral was open it would have been a way better option.

This used to be one of our favorite spots to grab a drink and food.
It took a long time to get the food. Then when I got my food I it just didn’t look right immediately. The pot roast used to be so delicious, and when I got it tonight it was extremely tough and tasted/smelled like it was reheated in the microwave. And IT WAS NEARLY $19 FOR THIS?!
However, our server was fantastic!
But, Truly disappointed with the food and will likely not be going back.
