My normal go to Jamaican spot was closed until Wednesday. I ordered a normal Jerk chicken combo with steamed vegetables/mac and cheese. I was super disappointed because every single item didn’t hit at all. Out of respect, I try to finish all meals but this was tough ??♂️ I can’t wait until this Wednesday ?

Stellar establishment with a good range of Jamaican food options including Oxtail, Curry Chicken, and more. A very local and vibrant decorative scene that seems to want to complement the food experience. All in all, the food was very savory and quickly served and while they didn’t have Oxtail and some other items at the specific time, all of their dishes appear to have the caliber of quality. Much recommended.

Omg my food was soooo good. Jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage were cooked to perfection. Meat pie crust was tender and flaky. Coco bread was warm and soft. I got my order to go but the music was a vibe and the restaurant was spotless. Excellent service. Prices were super reasonable. And I had leftovers which were also fire.
G's Jamaican Quisine is the best chicken I've ever tasted, outside of Jamaica. I was hesitant about trying it because I've had jerk chicken IN Jamaica and didn't want to be disappointed, but my husband convinced me and I'm SO glad he did! It tastes EXACTLY like Jamaica!

Wanted to find my folks Caribbean food for their anniversary dinner. Found this place. Went to their website, which said they opened at noon. I put an order in for 12:30. I showed up at 12:25. After waiting several minutes outside a locked door, someone came and told me they don't open until 1. When I mentioned that the sign beside their door says they opened at noon (see photo), they just stared at me and repeated that they open at 1. I told them that I had a texted confirmation for an order I'd placed through their website for 12:30 pickup, they told me that was impossible. I showed them the confirmation. They said, and I quote, "That don't matter. That's GrubHub. Call them and get your money back.", before locking the door and retreating. So, I'm currently sitting in a parking lot, unsure if my food is being prepared or if I'm being ripped off. I can only conclude that, at the very least, this is clearly not a place that wants my business very badly.
Omg this place is AMAZING the welcome we received was the best. The food was so good there are no real words for it. We will definitely be back. The flavor and care put into the food was out of this world the best I have ever ate in my life.
