Food was great quality and delicious! Between the 4 of us we had the calamari, crab pimento dip, salmon, 3 different type steaks, broccoli, and mushrooms. All were excellent! We shared the smores chocolate pie and and bread pudding, which were both supremely delicious!! I would highly recommend all the above! In addition the staff were all very friendly and welcoming with great service! Our server, Cale, was exceptionally good! He was very attentive, without being intrusive. The atmosphere was very pleasant and comfortable, with the noise level just right to hold a conversation. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a date night, family get-together, or special occasion!

Prime rib should have been excellent for what it cost. My husband's was not very tender. Mine was ok but of the 12 ounces a lot of it was fat. Our waitress was very good, attentive and friendly. Enjoyed her very much.

Yesterday, 02/27/24, was my first time eating at Hereford House, actually ordered online "to-go." Seamless ordering & pickup experience. Fast service, kind employees. Very good food. Definitely recommend & will be back to dine in & try happy hour.Dietary restrictions: They use mostly olive oil & butter for their cooking (steaks, salmon, mashed potatoes, salad), not vegetable & seed oils.

Ordered two 12 oz strips. Medium. It was close to closing at 830. And didn’t realize they close on Friday at 9 pm. Seems early. Took food to go Both steaks well done to say the least. Zero atmosphere as well.

I had reservations, and while being led to the table, I asks if we could be seated in one of the open booths. The hostess said she would have to ask someone, so we sat down in the booth and waited for her to come back. I believe it was the “manager” came back and acted as if we had asked for the moon. She had a very condescending attitude, and if we hadn't had our kids with us, we would have left. She should have “said less”.

For dinner costing 100+ dollars it should have been a very good steak and meal. My steak came out undercooked, the server who delivered my steak said something before I did when cutting into it.. it was rare to medium and was ordered medium well.... Steak got sent back... by the time I got my steak back I had already finished my side dishes ... and my steak was then well done and all I could taste was the charred taste that the entire bottom of my steak was! So I then spent time cutting the char off so I could eat my steak... very disappointed when our waitress never asked once about how our food was after my steak was brought back to me.
Our waitress was a real doll, very attentive to not only our table but to her other tables also. The prime rib was excellent!!! I loved how the steak was laying in the au jus. Kinda disappointed in the Parmesan broccoli not much flavor but that will not be a deterrent to us going back because we loved everything else!!! We did the meal for two and man oh man what alot of food you receive. So much u cannot eat it all. It's a 4 course meal shared appetizer, salad that was delicious, prime rib with two sides and dinner roll w honey butter and a dessert to share. Wonderful value!!! Try it you will not be disappointed!!!

Went for happy hour with my family of four. We hadn’t been in awhile so we’re excited for their food but the food was terrible! We ordered calamari and it had fried jalapeños mixed in which would’ve been nice to know when I ordered it. So we had to make sure our littles weren’t getting that. Then I had the steak kabobs, you would’ve thought i ordered from the kids menu it was so small! We will not be going back and will definitely not recommend. Very disappointing experience. Save your money and go to 54th street.

Hereford House has always been one of our favorite restaurants. We went for our Valentine's Day dinner. The sweetheart dinner for two was a great deal. Cale was a great waiter. We'll definitely be going back.

Food was good... it usually is good so no complaints there and the Hertford House has been a family favorite for 40 years.Since we have had better service when seated in the bar side of the restaurant the last couple of times, we probably will opt for it over the restaurant side.
