Exceptional experience that exceeded our expectations. The greens and eggs were garden fresh, (picked today), and absolutely delicious. The music was outstanding! We felt transported to a more charming place and time - but in reality, we were here in Kansas City. (Apparently, we are cosmopolitan!)What talent! We felt so fortunate and blessed to be invited to attend the Garden Concert tonight. 5*
A nice little restaurant in the downtown area of Kansas City with the objective of running a business in a eco-friendly manner. Along the way, they provide good tasting food with smiling faces. As one approaches the restaurant, one will notice the nicely designed patio which has a charming little vegetable garden. The grocery store which is inside the restaurant offers hard to find items such as grains, seeds, relishes, pickles, jams, etc., and a few meat items.
Howard's is an extremely cute place to have lunch.Parking like always in downtown is extremely cumbersome, but there is about 5 or so areas near the resturant. Once you find parking walking into the resturant is refreshing as you get to walk through a garden area where Howard's grows some of what they sell.
