This place is a North Kansas City icon!!! If you don't get the meat and cheese tacos, you're totally missing out on what's made them a famous taco staple and establishment. I think it's the unorthodox way in which they make them, with the meat filling and yellow powdered cheese, they can not be rivaled anywhere!!! Love, love the corn nuggets, deep-fried cauliflower, fried mushrooms, and amazing taco burgers. A must try, seriously! Drive to North Oak tfwy and get you some!!!

Food comes out hot and fast, employees are the best, and who doesn't want nacho cheese powder on tacos???Great spot, always very clean, and the tacos are the bomb. They also have Barq's on the soda fountain which really just elevates your whole experience to the next level.

6pm at night, no customers and not a single clean table, booth or counter… to be found. Had to ask to get one cleaned. Then he used a bucket of cold water that didn’t dry until we wiped off with napkins. What happened? This used to be the best service location but… today after my years of being a customer I’m really disappointed and sad that they are only drive thru oriented it gets me wondering if they are ok with leaving a dirty lobby what’s behind the counter.

I grew up on "Tub". It's the best for tacos, burritos w/cheese and sauce. The cheese burgers are loose meat and fabulous.! Hamburgers are known as pocket burgers! Just the best place!

Let me say Although the reviews were ok and they said the tacos had powered cheese I was scared. Powder cheese whaaaaat, but once I tried it was not bad it actually had a better cheese flavor than normal. But taco are just like jack and the box fried tacos.

I visited this place on a whim. I ordered the mushrooms, and a Swiss burger. The mushrooms were burnt and had that you should have changed your frier oil 2 weeks ago taste. The burger was not for me. I don't understand why my meat was creamy and had powered taco seasoning on it like a coating? Maybe it's for you but done with it. Good place to pass up imo.
