We just tried this restaurant for the first time. Wow! What a great authentic experience. The food was fresh and fantastic! The service was great. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the northland.

Amazing experience, the owner was very passionate about his restaurant and it showed. The meal was the best Mexican food I've eaten at a restaurant. Would go back often if I wasn't just visiting KC for work.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. The owner was there to greet us as we walked in the door. He was wonderful in explaining the menu and about the dishes. This is by far the best authentic Mexican food I have eaten. The flavors were on point and just enough spice to liven up my taste buds. The portions were what seemed large but I didn't walk away feeling overly full. The finale or dessert was unbelievably good. It looked dense and like it would just sit on your stomach, nothing could be farther from the truth. The flavors were spot on and worth every penny. I will be sure to visit again when I am in Kansas City.

Was staying in a hotel nearby and decided to give this place a try based on the 4+ star rating. I placed an order online and the website was user friendly however their photos and descriptions on the website were lacking. Had I known the tamales I ordered were not going to have husks on them and be covered in some questionable, watery, tasteless, stomach acid-looking juices, I probably would not have ordered 2 plates of them…but I had planned to eat the other plate for breakfast. Against my better judgment, I ended up taking one bite because I was giving it the benefit of the doubt, but should have went with my instinct. Tasted like something that came out of the frozen food section and they tried to mask it with the mysterious juices it was drowned in. My son said the enchiladas looked good when he opened his container, but one bite and he said they were frozen too. And then the salsa…just some watered down ketchup basically because it had zero flavor or kick to it. I think they forgot to put any peppers in it. So, spent $66 on the food and $55 of it is going in the garbage. And now I have to door dash my son whataburger. Two positives, the host when I walked in was friendly and the guacamole was decent…hence the reason I’m not also getting whataburger.

Very friendly staff and quick service. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable for the portions. The food also tastes very authentic and they dont serve anything old. It is fresh and made as quickly as they can. Do yourself a favor and get the molcajete.

Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the Northland area. The staff is friendly but the food is amazing. The serve authentic Mexican cuisine that tastes phenomenal, we specifically got the Pollo En Mole and Pollo à la Crema. We’ll definitely be coming back here anytime we are in the mood for Mexican food!

Finally found Mexican cuisine with flavorful side dishes, not just bland rice and beans thrown onto the plate. I ordered the cacao mole and it was so flavorful and can tell it was made with love. So glad this was my first authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant! Our server was very friendly and can tell they are proud of what they do. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Food is great, but now that they charge a mandatory 10% “gratuity” that 100% goes to the restaurant, I’m done.

NoT what it is hyped up to be. Steak in entree was tough and margueritas were mostly lime juice. The service and atmosphere waa nice.
