Server was awesome. Sauce was the only food item that was not on the same amazing-ness as everything else.
THE MEAT WAS DRY! It was terrible to chew. Very disappointing. Like when I say dry, it was DRY. ugh.
I asked for my meat to be lean and it can't back with a high level of fat and when I mentioned it to the waiter, his response was “would you like a refill on your soda”. No apology or any way to fix it but instead, let me there to pick all of the fat off
Some of the best BBQ we have ever had. The burnt ends will melt in your mouth. The cole slaw is excellent.
I had the KC Combo with three meats. The beef brisket was tender, the smoked sausage delicious as were the pork ribs. It's a great sampler at a great price. The fries were perfect as well: crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Our waiter was attentive and the food came out hot and in a timely fashion.
We ordered the platter for four, having no idea how much food there would be. There was easily enough for 8 people! I Mentioned that to the server who just smiled and indicated that it always makes great leftovers. While I agree with that, I still wish he would have forewarned us about the amount we were getting!
Excellent service. The restaurant was bustling yet our server was very attentive. He made great suggestions and added to our experience.
We love Jack Stack! We had a party of 6 and also needed some extra food for carry-out. Our servers took great care of us and everything was delicious. Their cheesy corn is the best.
Food was either overcooked or not hot enough. Service was ok. Bill was way too high for food that was overcooked and/or not warm enough. Ambiance was not great. They have too many tables jammed together shoulder to shoulder. On our table one of us had to move because servers had to squeeze between the chair and plates were going above his head. The quality of this location continues to fall, and I think we're going to have to start driving past it to get to Freight House or drive to Martin City. Both options will have us at Jack Stack less, which is a shame because we love the way the food usually is at other locations. Jack Stack is a place I would take KC visitors for a up-leveled experience. I will be skipping this location for that purpose.
Food was delicious and more than plentiful - we had the burnt tips appetizer- oh my, a must order! Also had the chicken club, the chicken salad and the entree baked potato with pulled pork. Could not finish the dishes! The sauces are house made as well as the memo adds - so delicious. Our waitress made excellent recommendations and was friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. Highly recommend.

Sides of cheese potatoes, corn bread and beans were good, as well as the burnt ends but ribs and brisket were mediocre - dry with little taste.
Walked in to a much lighter and brighter restaurant!! Beautiful. Our server Antony was simply the best. Attentive and kind. Everything was absolutely perfect!! Enjoy the whole evening and our dinner
Anthony took good care of me. The food was great and I enjoyed the meal and service. Thank you!!
Had a reservation. I was sat in front of kitchen window in a lower booth. I ended up changing to other side of booth for a view of the hanging wooden chandelier. So, not a good view! Noise level was horrendous!
Had dinner with a friend tonight who had read somewhere that Jack Stack had pork chops for a short time so we both ordered them. They were thick and juicy and exquisitely seasoned. We shared a molten lava brownie ala mode that was to die for. To make our dinner even better, our server was friendly and had a great sense of humor responding to my friend's teasing.
