Y’all are sleeping on this restaurant if you haven’t been here. Great drinks and great food every time I’ve been here. I highly recommend the Diablo Shrimp and Steak & Shrimp. We got a house margarita and an entree, each.
Had a great experience at Jarocho South. The food was excellent. Every seafood dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. I really enjoyed the fried fish, which was crispy and seasoned just right. The ceviche was bright and delicious. The service was also top notch. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. I would definitely come back for more great seafood and a great dining experience.
Made a quick stop at Jarocho South last Thursday evening for $1.25 happy hour oysters. I was coming home from my grandson’s 🏀game in Olathe and made the stop after a video client of mine turned out to be the owner! Found the location thanks to Google maps and went inside. A small storefront with an open kitchen in the back, it was a pleasant vibe but I was the only customer. The young server was quick to greet me and I settled into a window booth.
